I decided to write this review of the Body Merry Pro-A Serum since I’ve been using this product for a while (2 years to be exact).
About: This is a retinol serum by the brand Body Merry which retails for $19 for 1 fluid oz.
My Experience: As I said before I have been using this product for a while and it has definitely been, and still is, my go-to facial serum. Whenever I apply this serum to my face it feels very lightweight and has a water-like consistency, also it absorbs very quickly into the skin and doesn’t leave behind any residue. I don’t notice any scent from this serum and it doesn’t contain any added fragrance. Since this serum contains retinol which helps a lot with my acne breakouts and I don’t notice any redness or peeling from it.
This serum has some very good ingredients including: Hyaluronic acid, Aloe leaf extract, Retinol, Jojoba oil, Green tea extract, No added fragrance, and more! Some not so good ingredients: Witch hazel (potentially skin sensitizing), Geranium extract (potential irritant).
Pros: Lots of great ingredients, Fragrance free, Absorbs quickly into the skin and desn’t leave any residue. Affordable (worth the money), Contains retinol, Doesn’t irritate my skin.
Cons: A few not-so-good ingredients.
Conclusion: In conclusion I really like this serum. I love that it contains retinol which helps me with my acne breakouts but at the same time doesn’t irritate my skin. It absorbs quickly into my skin and doesn’t leave any residue, and it doesn’t contain any added fragrance. I also love that this serum contains so many great ingredients for the affordable price.
