I was surprised by how much I love this serum. It’s an oily serum and I use it on top of my Elizabeth Arden Pro serum-cream. I tend not to use a moisturiser on top of it, because that would be too much for my combination skin. Also, the lady in the store said that you don’t really need to apply a moisturiser if you use this. I only use it at night, because it’s a little too oily for daytime use, at least for me. It might not be though, if you have dry skin.
My skin drinks this stuff up and my skin is not oily in the morning. My skin is just moisturised and looks glowy and fresh. It doesn’t aggravate my skin and it doesn’t clog my pores. I’m not sure I will use it in the summer, as I like to use lighter skincare products then. It’s perfect for the rest of the year though. The price is a bit steep; I would of course prefer it to be cheaper, but I don’t find it’s more expensive than other expensive brands. I suppose it all depends on what you compare it to. I will repurchase.

I have only sampled this product but it seems like a perfect help for the winter months. It has oil but not so much as to make your face icky and you can still layer a moisturizer on top. My forehead looks a bit slick in the morning with this but it doesn’t feel overly oily – just the normal kind of sheen it would have. So it works perfectly on dry-combination skin. The serum is not the watery oily type, but more like a slightly thick lotion. The only thing that keeps me from buying the product is the RIDICULOUS price – way too high for 30 ml of product! I’m sure you can find similar product for cheaper, e.g. from Asian brands. So the price knocks off one lippie from my rating.

I was sent this product for free after being invited to take part in its virtual lunch. I used to love Biotherm products but as I became more conscious of products containing denatured alcohol, I started replacing then with more appropriate products. So I wasn’t even sure I wanted to try this product. However, the alcohol content is small, so I gave it a try. I have combination/oily skin, but I’ev always wanted to dry a facial oil in hopes of making my dull complexion a little more radiant. So I gave this a try and I was fairly impressed. The consistency is fantastic. It’s similar to the Aquasource Night. It’s a jelly. But in comination with the oil infused into it, it’s the silkest feeling when you put it on. Not too heavy at all though. Definitely a ‘face oil for beginners.’ I am really loving using it at night underneath my moisterizer. However, it retails for $75 for a 30ml bottle. So it’s defintely on the more expensive side considering the consistency is a little thicker than a typical serum, forcing you to use a little bit more. I can’t say for sure whether or not I will go out and purchase a bottle once this one runs out. As of right now, after only a week of use, I couldn’t say I’d purchase this product. I wouldn’t buy this just based on the luxurious feeling it gives, because that’s sillly. But if I notice a diffence in my complexion at the end of this bottle, I may have to just bite the bullet and buy it.

I was on a testing panel for this product and got a lot of it, so I have been using it for over three months now. I have combination skin with occasional breakouts in my T-zone.
Pros:
– very moisturizing, no need of night cream when using it.
– Nice smell
– very good for my dry areas
Cons:
– too oily for an oily skin, my T-zone is shinning a lot in the morning.
– tends to separate, sometimes you get a very oily drop and sometimes, just some pale jelly. shaking the container helps.
– too thick for pump. producst simply doesn’t run down the walls of the bottle. about 2/3 in, I had to unscrew it every time and use a q-tip to get some out. very annoying.
All in all, a decent product, although design team could have put more thought in it. There plenty of good products on the market in this price range. I would not repurchase, but would gladly use it if I got it for free again 🙂
