I would rate them as being more expensive, but as I cut them in half, and end up using at least another 10-15 extra cotton rounds to soak up the extra juice, I think I get a lot of bang for my buck with these. They’re huge. They’re also fabulous. I can honestly say that I’ve never bought a product that I can genuinely attribute such an obvious improvement in skin texture to. This is a keeper! My pores are finer and cleaner. I know because I have switched it out for a month – and switched it straight back in.

I just can’t get over the fact that my skin feels super smooth after each use. But since it contains a lot of alcohol I’m limiting myself to use this not more than 2x a week.

I also have this lemon version as well as the wine purple one. This is a great gentle exfoliation pad too. My skin does not feel dehydrated after, in fact, it feels soft and clean afterwards. I use these once a week only at most. Highly recommended!

I got this as a sample when my brother brought back some Korean products I had him get while working there. Ok, all I need to say is in the top 10 ingredients (along with many other irritating ingredients) is denatured alcohol. There are good types of alcohols. known as fatty alcohols examples you’ll see on ingredient labels include cetyl, stearyl, and cetearyl alcohol. Denatured alcohol is bad alcohol destroys skin’s surface and the substances that keep your skin healthy over the long term. In addition to being drying and sensitizing, these alcohols can disrupt skin’s surface layers. It dries skin out which causes skin to pump out more sebum to protect itself. Alcohols like SD and “denatured” immediately harm the skin, starting a chain reaction of damage that continues long after it has evaporated. A 2003 study published found that with regular exposure to alcohol-based products, cleansing becomes a damaging ordeal—skin is no longer able to keep water and cleansing agents from penetrating into it, thus further eroding its surface layers.
It also destroyed the substances in skin that help to naturally soothe and defend it against visible effects of environmental damage.
If that weren’t bad enough, exposure to alcohol causes healthy substances in skin to literally self-destruct. The research also showed that these destructive, aging effects on skin’s substances increased the longer the exposure to alcohol; that is, two days of exposure was dramatically more harmful than one day, and that is only from exposure to a 3% concentration (most skincare products with denatured alcohol contain greater amounts than that).
If a skin care company can’t even get that right, what else are they getting wrong? Well we know that lemon and any citrus oils are bad for the skin (this product contains over a dozen harmful ingredients that have been researched and peer reviewed as bad for the skin) as well as jar packaging. Not only is it a breeding ground for bacteria from cross contamination but jars do not protect any active ingredients like antioxidants, peptides, vitamin c, retinols, AHAs, BHAs and many other actives that absolutely need shelf stable containers that protect from air and light so they do not break down. Otherwise you are literally throwing money down the drain.

This is amazing. You get instant result, right after rinsing. Skin feels baby smooth, I couldn’t stop touching my skin. Complexion was also brighter after rinsing. This all happens on the very first use. I use chemical exfoliation serum on a daily basis, but this combines both chemical and physical exfoliant. It’s just amazing.i would definitely use this again.

I was amazed at this product. The pad is so big that you can use the it on your hands, neck and decollette. I use this once a week, since I also use Retin-A. I see my skin is clearer, less dry patches, and my hands are looking better as well. The fragrance of lemon is refreshing. I would think putting these in the fridge in the summer would be awesome! Definitely a repurchase.

This is a nice exfoliating Peel. There is a refreshing scent of lemon. The scent is nice but I don’t like using fragrances in my skin care. The results of this are nice though. Be sure to rinse your face afterwards though. You don’t want this residue sitting on your skin all night. My more detailed review video is below.

I like these exfoliating pads. They definitely help when my skin is feeling unclean, clogged, and oily. Originally I did not know you had to rinse it off, but I didn’t experience any negative side effects.

I love this product and am so amazed by how wonderful my skin feels every time I use it. As a sidenote, I have incredibly sensitive skin that is dehydrated, combination-dry but prone to breakouts. Exactly. Most skin products do not work for me. I have never really used a chemical exfoliator before, only face scrubs, but I had heard that they are very good for many skin types to help prevent breakouts as well as help with texture and tone.
I went into Sephora to try out a few tinted moisturizers I had my eye on. To prep my skin for makeup, a makeup artist used this on me followed by the First Aid Beauty Ultra-Repair face moisturizer. My skin felt the most fantastic it has ever felt, I could not stop touching it. It was so smooth and soft and felt pampered and just plain good. I immediately looked at the ingredients list on the back, and my heart broke when I saw fragrance and alcohol listed, which I typically try to stay away from, given how sensitive my skin is. So I didn’t buy it.
I was so afraid that I would break out after going to Sephora, since the makeup artist had tried multiple makeup and face products on my face, including this one, which contains alcohol and fragrance. However, not a single breakout. I was amazed and almost weirded out.
Meanwhile, given the good things I had been hearing, I went on the hunt for a good chemical exfoliant. I tried the Nip Fab Glycolic Fix pads, which did absolutely nothing for my skin. I tried some other manual exfoliants like the beloved Philosophy’s The Microdelivery but still no luck. During this process, I kept thinking back to that day in Sephora and how good this Neogen stuff made my face feel, and how it was perfectly both a manual and chemical exfoliator However, I couldn’t find any reviews for it online except on Sephora’s website, which I tend to not trust as much as sites like this. So I went to Sephora and just bought it. Screw it. It made my face look and feel good without any reactions, what more could I want?
The first time I used this at home I freaked out due to how soft and supple it made my face feel. You can feel the difference as soon as you are rinsing the product off with water. It just makes the surface of your skin the softest, smoothest, most wonderful thing. I freaked out and ran to my husband and begged him to feel my face. He was amazed and tried the product too, only to be even more amazed.
I have been using this for three weeks now and I have only had one very minor breakout. I feel as though these pads prevent breakouts. Also, it appears to make breakouts you do get more minor, and they get better much more quickly. And there’s the texture benefit I’ve mentioned several times now- smooth, soft skin.
Unless you do not have sensitive skin, I would only use this a few times a week. I use this twice a week followed by a moisturizer. Per the instructions, I use the rougher side first for about 30 seconds, flip the pad, and then use the softer side. I dampen a clean face washcloth and take it off that way.
Too long, didn’t read: This will make your skin clear, smooth, and soft and most likely will not make you break out.
