I think Mychelle is an excellent brand with great products but I really did not enjoy this serum. This serum had a gritty texture that made me dread applying it to my face each day. Furthermore, while it did not fade existing spots and blemishes I do feel it helped prevent new ones.

I have been using this serum for a few weeks now, and my most salient observation is that this serum pills. It is interesting, because I do not think that the Vitamin A serum or the Vitamin C serum serum. But this definitely rolls up under my fingers if I am not careful and appears not to absorb completely into the skin, so I am wondering what is going on with this. I cannot say that I have noticed a brightening effect just yet, but I will update the review over time. I hope to figure out the application so as to avoid wasting product.

This line is perfect, just what I’ve been looking for! Concentrated fruit acids do wonders for exfoliating, renewing, regenerating, smoothing, plumping, refining, clarifying! What more does a girl need? I’m a licensed cosmetologist and very familiar with various skin care lines and knowledgable of ingredients. Mychelle is effective at a decent price in comparison for what you get. This product is worthy of well informed reviews only! Not everyone understands there skin or how to use products, how to exfoliate correctly. Which along with proper cleansing helps product absorption. Of course diet and exercises, lifestyle have a big role also. I have melasma and enlarged pores and this smooths my skin and refines wonderfully! You can’t erase dark pigment, only minimize the appearance!! Wear a sun hat!!! Also, floresent light found in offices and department stores makes skin red and hazy, wear sunscreen indoors too. Use this whole product line. I buy it from Wegmans, significantly cheaper :))

I have been using a few products from this line for a couple of weeks and have been experiencing good results so far. This serum does have a dark color and sticky texture. My skin is oily/acne prone with hyperpigmentation from old acne scars. I have been using the white cranberry cleanser, apple brightening serum, fruit enzyme mist, oil free grapefruit moisturizer, and brightening apple peel. My skin has cleared up significantly, feels softer, and my breakouts have greatly improved. The overall tone of my skin is more even. Time will tell if this will significantly diminish my hyperpigmentation. I am also doing my best to eat well and drunk plenty of water which is crucial for healthy skin. I may add in the vitamin C serum and pumpkin peel as I have read that these have shown good results for hyperpigmentation problems.

I used the whole bottle but saw no change in my skin. I bought it when I was nursing and was hoping I could still treat some mild sun damage without using anything harsher — now that my daughter’s weaned I’m on to the hard stuff! Too bad, this was a splurge for me at around $40 and I really wanted to like it.

After using Apple Brightening Serum twice a day for a month, I have noticed some brightening of my complexion but not much lightening of hyperpigmentation (mine is mostly due to sun exposure). It’s about as effective as lemon juice, but maybe a little less irritating. Be sure to moisturize thoroughly after applying this, as it can be extremely drying. Because of this, I’ve had to stop using. The brown serum looks and smells like natural apple cider vinegar. The little squirt bottle is annoying as hell; the product must be dispensed into your cupped hand, or it goes everywhere.

I don’t know if it’s just me but I have only used this product several times and I will keep trying but so far it does nothing and really irritates my skin and makes it red and patchy. It seems like it didn’t work for anybody else here either. Save your money.

I used the whole brightening line and it did NOTHING for my skin. I saw absolutely no difference in my brown spots or skin clarity. I don’t like feel of this serum and it’s very pricey, especially for something that doesn’t work for me!

I agree with the other reviews. The brown serum looks…yucky. This serum smells slightly of apples, and it IS tacky. I HATE THAT! Stickyness is not OK. I also broke out on my cheeks using this…several small red bumps.
I returned it.

I purchased the apple brightening cleanser and serum and my skin actually broke out so there must be something in the product that my skin is rejecting. Definately get the sampler size or free samples before buying it because the serum is not cheap (over $40 at health food stores). Just because it is a “natural” product doesn’t mean your skin won’t be sensitive to the ingredients. Lesson learned!
