Please note that Avon has discontinued this product
WHAT IS IT? AHA (glycolic acid) containing silicone-based serum
INGREDIENTS: Water, glycerin, cyclopentasiloxane, propylene glycol, glycolic acid, thiodipropionic acid, trioxaundecanedioic acid, ethylhexyl salicylate, sodium hyaluronate, phytol, fennel extract, palmitoyl oligopeptide, palmitoyl tetrapeptide-7, PEG/PPG-18/18 dimethicone, dimethicone crosspolymer, butylene glycol, carbomer, ammonium hydroxide, caprylyl glycol, polysorbate 20, fragrance, phenoxyethanol, disodium EDTA, Mica/CI 77019, titanium dioxide/CI 77891, blue 1/CI 42090, Red 4/CI 14700.
HOW DOES IT PERFORM? This silicone-based serum is very heavy and moisturizing and contains roughly 6% AHA (per email request to Avon) along with glycerin and hyaluronic acid which serve as humectants to plump the skin. This product would work well for those with drier skin than I have but there are several detracting aspects to this: a) the fragrance is overwhelming and nauseating and does not dissipate while the product is on your face and b) the product is obscenely expensive for such basic ingredients. I did not find this was as effective as similar products (e.g. Paula’s Choice AHA 10% Gel, which is much cheaper) and for that reason I would not recommend purchasing this or its analogues in Avon’s current lineup.
WOULD YOU BUY AGAIN? No
PRICE: $55.00 CAD for 30ml (I received this free from a coworker who sells Avon)

Just wanted to add comment after reading the other reviews. Avon has a 100% money back guarantee. If you really dislike a product, especially a $54 one, return it to your representative. For the person having trouble with their customer service, go online and find a local rep who will help you one on one. The customer service center is located overseas and is difficult to deal with. A rep can take care of the returns for you with no hassle.

I first started out with the cream form of this product and saw no difference but after positive reviews on another website for the serum form I decided to give it a try. I put this on at night with no other products except for eye cream and in the morning I did notice my fine lines were reduced the negative was the shiny greasy face I also had which is why I gave this a 3 . I will probably give this another go and put up with the grease since it did do a nice job on my fine lines, its a pretty good aha serum.

For reference I am 49 yrs old.
I think I paid about $54.00 (US) for this product. I used it every night for 8 weeks. I know that no topical cream or product is going to make me look younger or rid me of wrinkles and such but this really did nothing for my skin.
It’s texture is like MUFE silicone primer (clear) yet thicker. I thought since I didn’t want to use it on my face at night any longer I would repurpose this as a primer as not to waste it or my money.
Oh that’s a no go with this product. It sits on your face and if used the way I tried to use it your makeup will sit upon it and slide off your face within hours.
Let me make sure to state that I am not reviewing this as a primer. I only mentioned that because I hate to let a product go to waste especially when I paid over 50 american dollars for it.
Bottom line: This product does not perform as advertised. I saw no difference in my skin after using it although it didn’t break me out. It just did nothing.
I love their AHA pads though and will purchase and use those nightly until they disc that product.

I was extremely dissapointed by this product. I have used it everyday and used the whole bottle and i havent seen any difference. I think its a waste of money. And it leaves a really weird wet/oily feeling on the face. It doesnt absorb and it has a gross smell.

First let me say I bought this on eBay for about $15, don’t pay the ridiculous price that Avon sells it for. Who does Avon think they are? I bought this a while ago, used it a couple times, wasn’t too thrilled and switched to something else. I went back to it a few weeks ago and boy am I impressed. The smell is pleasant. It goes on smooth and silky (not tacky like some reviewers experienced)
Don’t believe the claims, no topical serum can replace fillers, you can’t absorb hyrualonic acid. It does nothing really for my facial folds. It does however smooth out my forehead wrinkles and crows feet, but only temporarily, and I get that from any product containing hyralonic acid or even from a good moisturizer. I’m 47 and have forehead wrinkles, this does improve their appearance, but as I said it is temporary. You have to keep using it regularly.
It has 5% glycolic acid, which is enough for exfoliation to occur, I use a higher % of AHA in the morning after cleansing and before moisturizing and putting on my makeup.
Overall this is a good serum, especially if you are new to AHAs. I would recommend it. Definately not my HG, I might buy it again (only on eBay) unless I find something I like better.

I received this product as a gift with purchase. I have been using it once a day for the past couple of weeks and have to say that my skin looks no different at all. Also I have noticed that when I put it on my skin,it seems to just sit on top, rather then absorb in. I would definitely not waste my money on this item.

This product was great. I really liked it. It filled my pores and minimized the appearance of lines. In the morning I could tell the difference. My face was smooth and even the redness I had on my cheecks minimized each time and it made my face appear brighter. I highly recommend!

I had the worst time with this stuff. The package looks great and expensive, like something you’d get from Neiman Marcus or Bergdorf. The smell is light and very un-AVON like. I had a great time with other ANEW Clinical stuff, so I expected to like this, but it was AWFUL!
It’s supposed to be a wrinkle filling, injectible-grade hyaluronic acid, but it felt like pure silicone and had the worst feel on my bare skin. It felt like I’d coated my face with Frizz Ease, and that my skin was being suffocated.
I dealt with the tacky feeling all night, hoping I’d wake up to some great results, but NOTHING.
Definitely buy it cheap and don’t pay full price.
