   Love! I use it as a treatment, 3 days in a row, 3-4 times a month- after applying Advanced Night Repair Serum (I was told by EL sales person that I’ll get the best results when I use this combo). I apply it when my skin gets dry, after using chemical peels- every time my skin needs a “special fix”.
   It works overnight with fantastic results. Next day my skin is soft, calm, regenerated and well moisturized. After using it 3 days in a row, I see a noticeable difference in my skin’s condition. Makeup applies better, after cleansing my face I don’t feel the need to moisturize (I still do of course). Super convenient stuff.
   It’s non-comedogenic, gentle, but effective.
   Pricey, but one of very few high end skincare products that in my opinion are worth the money. Get a sample, try it out- you’ll probably like it. I love it.

   I loved the original ANR Booster in the bronze bottle. Whatever was in that was like liquid gold for my face. It was incredible stuff, it healed everything, it got rid of fine lines, it plumped the skin, all without excessive silicone.

   Fast forward to 2020… We have, ladies and gentlemen, another SILICONE slick. Whatever you do, do NOT put Revitalising Supreme on top of this, it’s asking for more silicone. And… It’s drying with the Supreme – I have normal combination skin, so I was quite suprised!

   Also, I smell IDEALIST in here, it’s as if they mixed Idealist with a cousin of the Booster.

   What I will give credit for is the bottle, it’s the right bottle for serums and moisturisers, keeping delicate chemicals fresh.

   As an aside, I read somewhere that Ferulic Acid and fermented brews were in the original Booster… Perhaps that’s what I need to look for? I swear I found it in a Bobbi Brown serum (Lauder owns BB) but they’ve even changed the BB… I think they move their great stuff to other brands
   that are more expensive… the hunt continues!

   Let me preface by pointing out that I was hoping that this ANR Reset Concentrate would be an updated successor and follow-up product of the previous ANR Recovery Concentrate that came in a brown/gold opaque 1oz/30ml bottle with a dropper and which was discontinued around 2014. That product was extraordinary in my opinion because on my dry, sensitive skin it in fact felt healing and appeared to be “restoring” my skin’s resilience and fighting occasional redness very effectively. Up front prior to applying it on my skin, I noticed several things about the ANR Reset Concentrate: a lot of silicones in the formulation and a considerable price increase compared to the previous product. For reference, this 0.65oz/20ml bottle retails for $80 in the US while the previous concentrate sold for $92 for a full fluid ounce/30ml. On the plus side, I happily gave the packaging of this serum the highest possible rating. It comes in a sleek pump bottle with a very well functioning pump head, dispensing the perfect amount consistently without wasting any product. The packaging is ideal for travel.
   The product itself: After using it, I agree with what EvaVic pointed out in her review: This new product feels quite differently on my skin, and not even similar to the previous ANR concentrate. Obviously, one glance onto the list of the ingredients of the formulation reveals the differences. Nevertheless, I do like its calming effect and I find the formulation elegant enough to use it as an extra step when my skin feels dehydrated or out of sorts, and I will put it to the ultimate test and use it after long haul flights and during jet lag. The dry air can leave my skin irritated, parched and sometimes with patches of redness. Therefore, my skin requires extra hydration, for which I usually use sheet masks or cream masks, followed by extra pampering with a potent serum. And after I’ve liked my initial experience with the ANR Reset Concentrate well enough, I will pack it on my upcoming trip and I expect this serum to be a helpful companion. I will update this review should there be any changes to my assessment.
   Verdict: So far so good, I’m not blown away, hence 4 and not 5 stars, but I will continue using this serum and if I had to repurchase right now, I would.

   This is a dense-looking fluid emulsion that is based on silicone (oil soluble, water soluble ones and silicone elastomer).
   The initial feel is surprisingly similar to that of Idealist, however this newer version contains less silicone elastomer and achieves a very similar feel by using a polymer.
   The Estee Lauder Companies disclose the full composition of Advanced Night Repair Intense Reset Concentrate in their patent documentation (US20180168994A1). It is clear that they did use the same amount (12.4%) of Bifida Ferment Lysate that they use in the original Advanced Night Repair, however the ingredients list of the commercially available product does not even mention this active. One is inclined to wonder whether they cleverly “push” you into buying the Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Recovery Complex II too?

   The product unmistakably contains excellent anti-inflammatory ingredients (that have documented effect), actives that strengthen the skin’s lipid barrier making it more resilient.
   It contains questionable ingredients that only contribute to the fragrance of the product (Lavender Oil and Methyldihydrojasmonate). These are the same materials that EL uses in the commercial success, Idealist.
   I do believe that the extreme similarities are no coincident, rather a clever way to manipulate costumers into purchasing this product too through the same sensorial experience that they already appreciate from the Idealist.

   Advanced Night Repair Intense Reset Concentrate feels nice, starting out as a richer serum/lotion, absorbs fairly quickly leaving a very pleasant veil that is (a bit) cocooning and leaving the impression of enveloping the skin in a protective veil.
   I don’t find the product hydrating enough alone, but it is not suppose to be either. It is a serum that is advised to be applied after the Advanced Night Repair Serum in the evening for a period of time for recuperation of “damaged” skin/barrier.

   It is not the same (or even similar) product as the Advanced Night Repair Concentrate used to be (that was discontinued some years ago and was packaged in a 30 ml bottle with the dropler).
