I am glad I had the opportunity to try this cream thanks to a sample – such priced creams need to be tested before buying!
I love Vitamin C based creams and serums, as i suffer from hyperpigmentation: so I am always on the hunt for a good Vit C product.
The cream is thick and waxy upon application, but not greasy. It has a neutral smell, not the fresh orangey /citrus smell you would expect.
However, this cream sits on top of skin. I had a hard time trying to get it absorbed into my skin, and I had the feeling of a film on my skin.
After reading the ingredients* (pls see below) I discovered that this cream is literally packed with silicones… they are the culprit (silicones are meant to create a film to lock in moisture, that is not bad however they do clog pores).
I had bumps the day after (=clogged pored). No way I am shelling out more than 80 euros for a silicone based cream , even if it is by Dr Lancer. Sorry, next please!
