   The formula of this Eye Cream is built on the classic EL eye cream structural formula. However, this product marketed under La Mer lacks the elegance of the EL eye products and comes across as rich, yet provides only a very thin layer of the protective moisture contrary to what its name suggests.

   I find it very difficult to smooth out gently around the eye area, it is too thin to provide protection against colder weather and lacks the ability to provide and lock in moisture.

   Although the product does contain some excellent actives along the Miracle Broth, it cannot be compared to its predecessors that was based on the Miracle Broth without the added water. This formula contains 5% of the Miracle Broth at the most. (The patent ELC holds on the structural formula states 4.8% Shea butter).

   The colour of the product is nothing like the uploaded picture, which shows a light mint green tint. In the jar it is dark gray, again unlike its predecessor The Eye Balm, which tended to be cream or light green coloured.

   I cannot recommend this product especially at this price range. Clinique and Estee Lauder has way better eye products for the fraction of the price.

   I used to be a huge fan of La Mer products. There was a time when I was using at least for 5 of their products at once. I have recently found other LESS EXPENSIVE products that work better.

   This eye balm did nothing for me. I suffer from under eye puffiness. I did not see any change whatsoever. I also didn’t find this balm to be hydrating or brightening either. It really didn’t do anything. After using two jars of this I gave up on it.

   I would not recommend this to anyone.

   I had been using an eye serum and then special eye moisturizer, day and night, after using a sample of a cleansing product I’d found at my skin doctor’s office. I noticed that not only did I have dry and peeling spots but suddenlyy, I had crow’s feet. So, there was a promotion at my local makeup chain and I splurged on La Mer eye balm intense, which I now use both day and night. I have to say, the results are really miraculous. No, I don’t look 29 again but the horrible wrinkling and dryness are gone, after just a few days. Now i’m incented to buy the La Mer stuff that supposedly covers dark circles. I rate the packaging low not because it’s not nice, but I think that in general, fancy packaging is wasteful

   This stuff works! I’m 32 and decided to invest in somethjng to fight first fine lines and under eye pufiness. I had been using Estee Lauder’s eye Advanced Night Repair for years and it was doing nothing for me. Well boys and girls… it’s been only a week and I can already notice my undedeye area is much tighter and smoother. I’m looking forward to the 1 month results. Works great under my Nars Radiant Cremy Concealer too.

   Update on 12.19.2018:
   I’m on my 3rd tub and I still love this stuff. Tried other products but always come back to this.

   So, my mom always had this in her bathroom cabinet and as far as I can remember I always used it when I could. This is such a lovely eyecream. It has a lovely yet subtile and non-irritating scent, very moisturizing, absorbs really well into the skin, it even had a bit of a blurry effect on my ienie-wienie-tiny lines in the eye-area. Overall I was quite happy with this eyecream. It did it’s job very well. However, I simply cannot justify spending this amount of money on an eyecream at the moment. The price is ridiculous, in my opinion. It’s a good eyecream, but it’s not a miracle cream either… I’m confident that other creams (with a less expensive pricetag) work just as fine (or even better maybe).

   After having tried a lot of eye creams and not having found an effective one, I paid for this one. I somehow liked its smell. The first days it made my under eye area very dry that it started peeling. Afterwards it went back to normal. I found it not very moisturizing, it did not do any change for my under eye area and was absolutely not worth the price.

   This is based solely on the few tubes I got as samples from my purchase of crème de la mer. The texture is very nice. Not too thick nor too thin. It absorbs beautifully and leaves under eye areas moisturized. They’ve definitely improved on their eye creams and no longer sting the eyes. For the price of it I wouldn’t buy it for what it offers. It’s really nothing so great that would me purchase. I like that the scent is very subtle so there’s no overpowering irritation from that. It’s a good product but not great.

   You never actually appreciate the effectiveness of a beauty product until you stopped using it. This is the only eye cream that ever brought some visible results for me. I suffer from dark circles (genetics) and at times puffiness and this is the only product that gave my eye area a glowy complexion. The special spatula de puffs the eye area and make the massage makes the product work more powerfully. Additionally it is an amazing moisturiser. No other eye cream ever served as good as make up base as this one. I know it is a hefty price tag to pay for just moisturising but when all other eye creams make my concealer crease and create wrinkles under my eyes out of nowhere (I don’t have any) then I am willing to pay the price. I tried A LOT of products for my eyes of all prices and brands, this is the one I am going back. Paying £125 again surely should be convincing enough.

   Only downside I guess, the packaging is a jar doesn’t have a pump so it is less hygienic.

   I like this very much, but I wouldn’t buy it again on account of the price.
   It moisturizes very well but isn’t greasy, and it actually helped my dark circles slightly. I was only looking for some moisture, so when I woke up the next morning and noticed that my whole eye area looked better, I was impressed. Still, the price is a deal breaker for me, so that’s why I took a point off of my overall rating and why I said I wouldn’t buy it again. If I ever win the lottery, I will buy it, though.

    I had a generous sample and found this totally useless. This contains eucalyptus oil which is one of the most irritating fragrant oils there is. And this in a product to be used around THE EYES It also contains fragrance.Even if I saw results with this(which I didn’t) I can’t justify putting irritants like this around eyes or anywhere on the face. I have not been impressed by any of the La Mer products I’ve tried and this is no different.This is one to skip.
