It is a lightweight (probably too lightweight) cream formulated for the eye area.
I find it too light and not hydrating enough unless used during the summer months.
It does contain some very good actives , along with excellent probiotic ingredients (Bifida Ferment Lysate and Vitreoscilla Ferment) that strengthen the lipid barrier along with some excellent cell fuels (in the form of Adenosine and yeast exact). It has also some excellent hydrators as Biosaccharide Gum-1, Hyaluronic acid and glycerin). Because of this balanced blend of actives, this serum is truly suitable for a younger skin, a sensitive one but also for an older more mature skin that needs a more complex range of actives. In this case the addition of Salicyloyl Phytosphingosine will contribute to minimizing the signs of aging by supporting epidermal cell differentiation, skin repair and skin renewal, improving the conditions of mature or photo-aged dermis by boosting collagen synthesis and reducing its degradation, reinforcing the dermal-epidermal junction and soothing inflamed skin (according to the producer of the raw-material).
The formula is exactly the same as the newly launched eye cream under another L’Oreal brand: Biotherm as Life Plankton Eye Cream, There is no difference in the formulas only in the packaging (even here only the colour of the jar) and the lower price-tag of the latter.

I so badly wanted to like this eye cream. The jar is absolutely beautiful, and I adore many Lancôme products. Unfortunately, our relationship wasn’t meant to last.
The good: The packaging is beautiful to look at, and looks gorgeous on your vanity. The texture of the cream is very light, and nice to apply. There is also no strong scent with this cream, which is always nice. The product absorbs quickly, and doesn’t leave a slick under your eyes.
Why I won’t repurchase: I felt it did nothing for me. I’ve seen below that many others have seen results; unfortunately, I haven’t. For my particular concerns (fine lines, lack of hydration, light-to-moderate dark circles), I need a more moisturizing formula. Within half an hour of applying, it feels as though I never applied anything, which can be good if the effects are still there, but it didn’t leave behind any lasting moisture, or lasting effects either.

This is a very nice eye cream from Lancome. It helps with fine lines, puffiness, and dark circles. I love the texture of this, reminds me a bit of Estee Lauder’s Advanced Night Repair eye gel cream. I wish it were in a pump, but if I am careful with how I handle it, I can try not to contaminate it as much as possible by using q-tips. I found it really helped me with dark circles (my biggest under eye concern). It is pricey, but not as expensive as some of Lancome’s eye creams.

It’s an ok product. I used this eye cream for years. I must admit I never really had problems with fine lines under my eyes.
But when I did have dark circles and puffiness – it never did anything.
It did a good job in keeping my skin feeling smooth and hydrated.
I wouldn’t recommend this product to young women, who don’t particularly have any problems. It might help older ladies with more problem areas.

This has become my HG eye cream. I have searched for several years to find a cream that will treat the occasional eczema on my eyelids and not be to “greasy”. Yes this is $$$, but in my opinion worth it. I’m lucky enough not to have any major fine lines, but the few I had are completely gone. It takes about 4 months to use up the jar. I use it day and night.

I love Lancome products for day time use and I have been using them for 10 years. This is fairly expensive product so I usually get it for my birthday or Christmas wishlist, therefore, it tends to last for 6 months for 15ml. This eye treatment serum is very potent for wrinkles around the eyes and lids, so I only dab a bit on a q-tip. I do get a little tingle at first, that’s why a use a little bit. Overall I like this product, but it’s the price point that’s too high and I’m looking for another eye treatment a little less expensive. Thanks for reading.
