I bought this in the refreshed color. The product gives a sheer subtle color and reduces puffiness and lines. I find it best if used alone with no other product combination as it hydrates the eye area as well as brightens it. Though you will need to use a concealer if you have anything that needs concealing. I use a tiny bit of concealer at the inner corner of my eye where I need it.
I bought a second tube to have on hand when I run out of the first tube. Good product!!

This product does exactly what I want it to do – it makes the skin around my eyes look brighter and more even-toned. I don’t have problems with extreme bags or dark circles (yet), but I find this gel improves the look of both these minor problems when I wake up looking like I need 10 more hours of sleep. I especially like this on my eye lids, because it covers discoloration and it doesn’t irritate my eyes. I have heavy-lidded, almond-shaped eyes, so anything that goes on my eye lid potentially pokes me in the eyes. This gel stays put beautifully. I really, really enjoy the cooling sensation upon application, and the refreshing feeling lasts for about 10 minutes. My eyes are strained from computer work all the time, and this gel perks them right up. One thing I wish this gel did but it doesn’t do is moisturize. Occasionally the skin around my eyes gets super dry, irritated, and crepey, and while this gel definitely smooths my skin, it doesn’t add any moisture to soothe the irritation. This does work nicely over moisturizing eye cream, and when I use Per-fekt CC Cream over it, my eyes seem to get the moisture needed.

This DOES make your eye area look good. Other than that, the packaging is a total fail – mine started cracking in several places on the tube where the top screws on, and I did not screw it on tight. The palladium metal tip is a waste, too. I get just as good results with just using the Perfection Gel all over my face and eye area. I did not experience the cooling or tingling that others experienced.

Edit – I just looked at myself in the mirror two hours after application – this stuff sunk into the wrinkles around my eyes that I didn’t even know I had. I looked terrible.
This did lighten up my dark circles a bit, but the cooling effect felt like ice and took forever to dry. My eyes watered a bit too. Overpriced for nothing terribly effective.

This product WORKS. I have horrible dark undereye circles, and based on the recommendation at Sephora, I bought it to use it as a primer under my regular cream concealer. And it almost completely makes my circles disappear – my eyes look great.
However – I am going to have to stop using this soon. The “tingling” feeling that they pitched as a selling point is irratating my eyes beyond belief. On day 1, my eyes felt really tired. by day 3, I thought maybe my eyes just needed a break from contact lenses, so I switched to glasses. Now at day 5, I’m going to stop using this – my eyes have that tired burn, sort of like after a day at the pool. I’m going to see if I can find a similar product that works without killing my eyes.

I have tried about a million concealers and this one is pretty useless. It absolutely does nothing for my eyes, except MAYBE act as an overpriced primer. The coverage is even worse than their foundation gel, and the metal tip is just hype (it heats up after a few pats). The only thing I use it for is to put a tiny bit in the cracks under my eyes to try to hide the wrinkles. I don’t really think it does anything, but I’ve got a whole tube of it so I try to be creative with it.
Also, there was a crack in my tube, so it started squiring product everywhere. I lost about half the tube to this. Unacceptable, given the price of this thing!!!

I love the tingly feeling you get about ten minutes after applying this product. It reminds you, “oh yea, I guess this must be working.” And it really does. Go look in the mirror around the tingly time- you will notice a dramatic difference in the look of your eyes. Smoother, softer (looking and feeling), brighter. I feel like this product is too expensive to double as an eyeshadow primer, but it definitely could. Sometimes I don’t even squeeze the product out, I just massage my under-eye area with the cool palladium tip- and even that makes a difference! Try it next time before an afternoon meeting, you’ll be amazed at how refreshed your face feels and looks.

If I could, I would honestly give this ten stars — because for me, it did exactly as it said. NO other product – no concealer, eye brightener, etc. – has ever made my eye area look like this one does. I have genetic puffiness that never goes away — and fine lines primarily from dryness under my eyes — and this definitely disguises the puffiness, brightens and blurs the look of fine lines better than anything I have ever used.
The only caveats: First, cost. It’s $45, and I go through it entirely too quickly; one tube does not last me very long. The product also sometimes gets stuck in the applicator, causing it to explode out of the tube suddenly and in an unpredictable direction when squeezed (which is wasteful).

i love this product! i use the bright one and apply it to my entire eye area under and on my lid. then i apply cover fx concealer in extra light over it. this is the only thing that has ever worked for me and it hides my dark circles! it does not settle into the fine lines and it does not look cakey. both products are very smooth and silky.

I have really bad dark circles and even though this product was pricey ($45) I decided to give it a shot! not only it didn’t get rid of the dark circles but it made my eyes tear up and uncomfortable all day even after I washed it off!! I decided to give it a second try and thought that maybe the watery eye was resulted from some other product or just due to something else. But it was definitely this that was causing the allergic reaction since the only time it happened was after applying this. I am going to try to return it but I don’t know what the return policy at Sephora is. I will NEVER buy this product again.
