I got a sample of this and it burned the skin under my eyes. Would not stop tingling and burning and making my eyes water so I had to wash it off. Never had this reaction to any eye cream before and I’ve tried loads. No reason to stray from my beloved Drunk Elephant!

It says for sensitive skin but made my eyelids red & itchy. Also the pump didn’t work. They sent me another one but had the same problem. So I only used it like twice, bc it didn’t pump any more, even that little amount caused a reaction. No joke if you’re sensitive to things like this it probably will not suit you. But then again, maybe it’s due to high concentration of extracts which could benefit other skin types pretty well. Put it this way, I get allergic reactions even from using some aveeno products- that bad. Alright just incase, for those like me, I tried a sample of Linda Meredith eye gel & it was good. Also, I use EmerginC active (something) gel (in blue bottle) I use it as a eyecream too. They are both gel based maybe thats why it works for me.

I’m on my second bottle now and love this eye balm! It reduces the dark circles underneath my eyes and make me look rested. I can see the result especially when I use it before I hit the bed.
My work is on a rotational 12hr shift basis and there are couple of times I do not have enough sleep when I’m switching from night shift to day shift and via versa. And this has helps me not to have that fatigue eyes look at work.
I like that it comes in a pump bottle and the smell isn’t too strong. The eye cream is quite rich so a little goes a long way.
It is quite costly so I recommend people to try the sample first before purchasing.

I first heard about L’Occitane Divine Eyes while visiting Los Angeles. I went to the L’Occitane store to get hand moisturizer and while there, the saleswoman convinced me that this was the best eye cream out there and told me it had won awards. How could I pass it up? Well it was not the best nor anywhere near it. The only good thing is that it did not cause me to have an allergic reaction. Other than that, it’s been a waste of money. It is not very moisturizing, doesn’t do anything for my skin nor would I consider this an under eye treatment. It’s basically very thin, lightweight fluid that is useless. I do like the bottle and the sanitary way it dispenses. Would not buy again nor recommend.

I am 26 years old and have been searching for a simple yet effective eye cream to counteract the early signs of aging. I have tried Clinique, Khiels, Perricone, Neutrogena and Biotherm. None of these eye creams did it for me. My main concerns are hydration, fine lines, under eye circles and puffiness. This eye cream has a fluid texture and absorbs into the skin quickly, leaving a smooth feeling. I find that after use my under eye concealer glides on and my eye area looks plump and moisturised . It seems to be doing all the right things and I really like the pump, as I find pots a bit unhygienic and messy to apply. I would recommend this eye cram to a person with normal to oily skin, with a dry under eye area. I think it’s a good quality product and I will be purchasing again.

Buy the face cream instead. Seriously. It is much better and when I used it around the eyes I saw more of a difference than this. This just hydrated, thats it. The face cream made my eye area look tighter and more refined. Shell out a bit more and you get a whole jar, there is no real need to use a different cream for the eye and in this case the face cream is fantastic for the eye area. It caused no irritation whatsoever.

Love this eye cream. Feels amazing. A little goes a long way. Great product. Love that it has a pump.

It’s a lovely product, and smells incredible, but in my opinion isn’t worth the high cost. I’ve been using it for two weeks and haven’t seen any magical improvements in anything.

Being over 60 years old and told I look much younger, I endorse this product, although I find I need to reapply it during the day/evening to get sustained results. I love the texture, absorbability, protective factor and the scent. The only drawback is the hefty price for the amount ($74 for 15 ml.).

I love love love this product! It’s lightweight, silky, moisturises well and my unsightly dark under-eye circles which I’ve depaired on for years actually went away. I love the cooling sensation when applied and the light scent or immortelle and myrtle. Definitely HG eye-cream/serum. Again, my only gripe is the price here in Malaysia. 🙁
