I have heard good things about this gel. But it doesn’t work for me. I don’t see effects after two weeks. But it is soothing and the smell is good.

I love this! It does work. I do use an eye cream over it and I only use at night. Will buy again from BlueMercury, but online. I do not care for their store any longer.😊

I have paid upwards of $200 (Kanebo, Chanel) for various eye treatments and have never.. ever!.. had any positive results (despite their lofty claims) other than hydration. Yes, that is key to healthy undereyes, but if you say the product will reduce puffiness or, perhaps, lighten the dark circles, or (yeh right) shave a few years off of your appearance, you’d bettah at least make this happen a little bit! Nada.
Until today.
This serum is amazing.. it is an incredible, near-instant product that is giving me noticeable and nice results after only the 4th use. I didn’t see a huge difference with those previous applications, but today I really did. My eyes are my best physical feature.. I feel like it is my *only* good physical trait so those all-day, every-day bags under my eyes affected me mentally. I felt hopeless!
Until today.
At *least* a 50% improvement in the puffs! If I am braver about it, I’d say 75% even, but I don’t want to jinx it lol! I cannot stop looking in the mirror, with total rapture. Then I put concealer in the “trough” of the puffy eye and wow!! I say the total improvement between the serum and concealer has made an 80% difference. I am 56 years old.. it was the least that could happen on this ol’ girl’s day 😉
On me, it is not a moisturzing serum, so I am also in the market for a not-too-heavy moisturizing eye cream that I may put *over* this serum . All in all, I am very pleased with this acquisition, which is not always the case after I get my stuff home and begin to experiment with it. I believe I paid like $40 for this (free shipping) on ebay.. It is absolutely worth it and I rarely say stuff is worth higher dollar. These undereye bags have truly messed with my feelings about myself.. having this improvement that I am experiencing right now is beyond delightful 🙂 If you have puffs, get this stuff! P.S. I treated myself to Burberry’s Pale Barley today because I don’t feel badly about my undereye area now 🙂
EDIT: while this is good stuff, I change my puffy-reaction to about a 35% (or a smidge higher) improvement. My routine is as follows: wash face; use one of those caffeine rollerball serums and wait 5 minutes; apply the Darphin under my entire eye area + contour (doing a little gentle massage while at it); wait 5 mins. and then put concealer (I use Maybelline Fit Me and love it) in the trough/shadow part only, though sometimes I like the lightening results if apply the concealer under the entire underneath area. This makes further improvement and I can comfortably claim a 50-55% improvment overall. To me that is fantastic..

An esthetician recommended this after a facial when we talked about my dark circle issue. The spa was running a sale, so I decided to try it. I am always skeptical about creams and having worked in the spa industry, I know that a lot of the products are all hype. This one, though, really worked. My dark circles went away. It is pricey but it does work. I stopped using it for a period of three weeks (misplaced the bottle) and during that time had professional photographs taken. Boy the dark circles came back big time and were so noticeable I had to have the pictures retouched just to take the dark circles out. I use just a little bit and even though the bottle is small, it lasted me close to 9 months, so the cost per use it more tolerable.

although it has some effect on my dark circles, it works better for puffiness than dark circles. I believe that this is similar to the the discontinued Vitaserum for eyes, but Vitaserum was more effective for dark circles. It is a very light gel, like water. It will hydrate your skin, but you have to follow with a cream to seal the hydration in, unless you have a very oily skin. I will try the anti-fatigue gel from Darphin next to see how they differ. That one is only half the price, and if it can also reduce puffiness, I will not buy this one again.

I comtemplated for weeks before buying this, only because it was really expensive here in Australia at $88.00AUD. The main concern I had with my eyes are dark circles, and I’ve been told this should work miracles.
Firstly it comes in a cute 15mL pump bottle, but the pump is soo hard to use because it is soo stiff. One pump is obviously too much, but the pump is too stiff to control that it becomes a struggly just to dispense half a pump every morning and night.
This formula is a serum, it absorbs very quickly (or dries very quickly), but usually I massage it gently on my eyes till it is absorb. If your like me and you wear makeup religiously, this doesnt effect your eye makeup at all, a lot of eye creams and serum, makes my concealer around my eyes run.
A lot of people told me that after about 1 week of religious application, I should start to see results. It’s been 4 weeks now and I see nothing!
To me this was a complete waste of money, I’m really not happy with this purchase.

very happy with this product. The name of it gives a very accurate description of what it does. I apply this light gel as instructed in a figure of eight motion around both eyes and it does take down puffiness quite impressively. My eye area isn’t dry so difficult to say how moisturising it is, but maybe you could use a more nourishing eye cream over this gel. Not cheap at around £37.00 but I am happy to pay that for a product that works well and delivers what it promises.
