I purchased this from duty free a few days back.
After a few days of using, I love it!
It gives a really nice, moisturized feeling on the under eye. Like I could tell from the feeling that this would definitely slow down the building up of wrinkles, if you know what I mean.
Expensive but definitely does the job!

I just turned 32 and realized that after a close up in the mirror, there were fine lines under my eyes YIKES! Sadly in my teens and 20s, I never used moisturizers let alone eye creams. I have been living in Canada for 20 years now and most of that time was spent in northern Canada and prairies where dry and cold is an understatement. I started suffering from acne when I turned 18 and at the time the treatment for acne meant drying out your skin like crazy with benzoyl peroxide, salicylic acid, and other topical medications. Sadly, I never used anything with oil in it or moisturizers for fear that it would clog my pores and cause more acne.
Anyways, so I tried some cheaper eye creams (innisfree orchid eye cream, benton fermentation eye cream) but I saw no improvement after 30 days. I also started to notice a small amount of milia under my eyes.
I went back to the internet and did some research. People raved about this eye cream on Reddit and here so I finally caved. First I ordered samples from ebay and after using 100 samples, I decided to buy the full size. OMG the price is so steep especially right now when the conversion rate of 1 CAD=0.73 USD.
I have to say though that this cream did get rid of the fine lines around my eyes after 60 days. My eye area looks much more youthful in general and I even use it around my laugh lines. If I could afford it I would probably get a big tub of this for my entire body. Also I like the faint ginseng smell.

I have to also give praise, and 5 out of 5 to this cream. I have never used such an expensive product before but I am actually very impressed.
I bought a sample size on Ebay after reading the reviews here and immediately started using this. This is a very thick cream which sinks in fast but does leave a slight residue. The herbally ginseng fragrance though is something I am struggling to get used to! It is very strong yet does not irritate my eyes like some scented products can.
I apply this on a night to my fine lines, and although I have yet to see a major difference, I do like the way this feels. I can feel a difference in my undereye area, the skin feels softer and more even. This cream feels like it is really nourishing my skin, and providing intense moisture to my fine lines and thin skin.
I have seen the price for a full size of this and it is very expensive, $180 for a small jar. I know that Sulwhasoo are a high-end Korean line, and I can see why the price is so high with the high quality of the sample. I actually would probably buy a full size of this product, I need all the help I can get around my eyes, and this product does provide it. I am not keen on the jar packaging though. I have seen individual foil sample packets for sale on eBay for a good price (and it solves the hygiene issue of jar packaging) so this will be how I purchase this in the future.

So, I thought that the black tea eye cream from Fresh was the bomb.com….until I bought some tube samples of this. This was my gateway product to Sulwhasoo and I am looking to try their other products now because I am head over flip flops in love with this eye cream. Fine lines are lessened, check. But the real kicker that sealed the deal for me was noticing my undereye area skin tone evened out and visibly brightened. And this was in under a month of useage! Using the teensiest tinyest amount on the tippy tip of my ring finger, patted onto my undereye area and sides to prevent crows feet. Any more than that, then you could feel that it has migrated southward throughout the day. Yup, it is that emollient. And ohhh soooooo very concentrated. Even with the tiny amount I use, I can still friggin smell the ginseng! Which is a scent I like, but still, the fact that the scent reaches my detection at all, from portioning out such a small amount from a tube is crazy. I bought mine from ebay in tubes to try out, and prefer this to having a jar. One little tube has lasted me over a month.

For references, I have dry milia prone sensitive eyes with some fine lines.
This eye cream has been an absolute Godsend for me. Practically EVERY eye gel or cream I have tried has either not hydrating enough, given me milia or stung my eyes.
This magic in a jar has managed to soften, smoothen, hydrate and plump up my under eye area without giving me any milia even after using it morning and night!!
The cream itself has an ever so slight orange tinge to it and a thick creamy buttery texture. I only use a tiny amount (maybe the equivalent to less than a grain of rice), rub it between my ring fingers to emulsify the product, then gently pat the cream onto my eye area (including the upper eyelids). Upon application, there is a strong ginseng scent which (thankfully) dissipates after a couple of seconds.
The only cons is that it is expensive (SGD220 for 25ml) and it is packaged in a tub (seriously, I do not understand why skincare companies continue to do this when it is so unhygienic?).

As always, I never know if I should rate more lippies for an expensive product, or more lippies for a good price.

This was part of the travel/gift sets I purchased from Asia – a small jar that I have been using sparingly. For my night time regimen, I’ve been using Bobbi Brown Eye Balm, which is alright – it soothes my tired eyes at the end of the day, but for long-term effect, I don’t see much happening. When I feel fancy, I use the Sulwhasoo eye cream. I lightly swipe the top of the cream with my ring fingers and pat it to the area underneath my eyes and around it. I do not put any on the eyelid area…someone once told me not to, but I’ve totally forgotten the reason why. The skin around my eyes feel so much softer and looks smoother. Again, the sweet ginseng scent is calming/relaxing. I don’t have many wrinkles yet (just some really fine lines starting) and I hope to avoid them for as long as I can. I’m sure this eye cream will do the trick, but I am hesitant to fork out $180 for it. 🙁 I’ve only tested a few other eye creams/balms (L’occitane Precious Balm, Shiseido, Boots No. 7) and none of them really compare to this. Surely, there are tons to try out there, but I’ve gotten amazing results using this brand for a short period of time. I am tempted to get the gift sets again so I can use these luxury products to sample again before I pull the plug on full size bottles.
