Beautiful eye cream with spf 30 and vitamin C, for the delicate eye area, fragrance-free and alcohol free. Now, can anyone explain me, why on earth the company has discontinued this very good eye cream ( a few eye creams in the cosmetics world, has good ingredients, are free from perfume and alcohol) and replaced it with an eye cream with no spf for the”delicate”eye area, full of volatile alcohol!

This is the best under eye corrector I ever tried + it has spf 30. It looks natural, brightens and conceals the under eye in a natural way. Love it.

I DONT KNOW WHY BUT IT MAKES MY EYES ITCHY

Been using this a few weeks and I love lots of things about it –
It does not make my eyes water or sting or react badly.
No discernible scent.
Has a physical sunscreen.
Acts a circle-covering/lightening concealer (it totally covers my dark circles but they are not generally super-dark).
Has some nice skincare ingredients.
Does not cake or crease badly.
Thin, easy to apply liquid. Just a tiny bit is all I need and it dries quickly.
Some things to consider –
i do apply this over moisturizer – I would not say it’s moisturizing on its own.
It does nothing for my puffiness, but neither does anything else.
It settles into my fine lines by the end of a day, but not nearly as badly as some things I have used.
It’s the perfect color for my very fair skin but I don’t think it would work on dark skin tones.

I was looking for a light concealer for under eye area and met this product. It is like a runny bb cream for eyes. If you have dark circles under your eyes you can apply this stuff in the morning and you’re good all day long. It claims to brighten the dark circles permamently. I’ve been using this for 2 months now and i haven’t noticed a difference under my eyes colorwise so im not so sure about it. 1 tube lasts really long and you shouldn’t use a big amount of product on your rutine since it has a more liquid formulation. It has spf which is very good to protect the most delicate area from the sun on daily basis.

I was given a tube of this by a friend so I haven’t actually purchased the product but I really like it. I pat over top of my morning eye cream and the texture is light and the pigment is good and stays put. I leave it a minute to set and then apply concealer immediately over top with my finger. It really brightens the under eye area and I have terrible brown/purple circles under my eyes.

Contrary to the below reviewers bad experience, I LOVE this product. I didn’t hestitate at spending the £29 on this because it’s a fair tinted sunscreen for eyes and you wouldn’t believe, at least in the UK how hard those are to get hold of.
I have some ugly ugly dark brown patches around my eyes…and they have traced themselves gloriously into a perfect semi-circle under my eyes. Glorious to behold every morning.
I’m pretty sure that my brown spots are mostly down to hormones since my mother suffered pigmentation issues also, and I do take my sunscreen up near to my eyes, but i do prefer a dedicated treatment if i’m honest.
This stuff is quite runny, i squeeze a generous blob onto the back of my hand and then tap it all under my eyes and onto my cheek bones with some also on my brow bone and around where crows feet live. It doesn’t get rid of my circles but it diminishes them enough for NARS creamy radiant concealer to finish the job off. I insta-love this Kiehls product and knew I was going to snap it up as soon as I saw it on really ree’s website.
Would definitely purchase again, and I wear it daily – I think the liquorice and vit c in this has even very slightly lightened the dark patches but that may just be my optimism kicking in at having finally found a great under eye sunscreen. To the reviewer below me: This is a tinted sunscreen for the eye area, it is not a primer and it is NOT a concealer – if you want either of those your options are abundant so don’t rate a product down just because it didn’t do something it wasn’t designed to do in the first place!!!

This seems to be a bit of a marmite product! I was hoping I would love it but alas… I was disappointed.
I bought my Kiehl’s Perfector online as I like to wear very sheer makeup and I was looking for a light, moisturising under eye concealer with SPF. I understood from other reviews that this was not a full coverage product so I thought it would be good as an every day light under eye SPF cream to compliment the tinted SPF moisturiser I wear on a normal day.
Firstly it is a VERY light shade. I didn’t have an issue with the colour as I’m very pale, especially after the British winter but in the summer I think I might look like a panda with this on. The tube I got had a very thin, runny texture. It also had quite a strong smell which I didn’t really like but I was willing to look past it to improve my dark under-eye circles.
I tried it over my usual eye cream but it was pretty much invisible so I tried it on its own which gave marginally better coverage but within a few hours my skin looked dry and tired. I tried adding a light coat of concealer too but it didn’t sit well on top. I persevered for a few days with different combinations but my skin started to feel uncomfortable and sore so I stopped using it.
I’m not really sure what this product is supposed to be. It’s too thin to conceal anything, too drying to be a moisturiser. There are better hypoallergenic SPF products out there, better concealers and better eye creams.

The other reviewers have done an incredibly thorough job describing this product. I’m chiming in to highlight that this concealer/sunscreen really is only for those with a very light complexion. (When I tried this product on in a Kiehl’s store, the rep said she was, “excited to have someone pale enough for it to work on.” Yep.)
I have very sensitive skin, but this product works fine; it doesn’t irritate my eyes or bead/flake. I always have blue around my eyes and when my allergies flare up, I get dark purple rings. When I have basic circles under my eyes, this product is enough to lighten up the area and bring it more in balance with the rest of my skin tone. When my undereye area is super dark, I simply apply concealer on top of this product. (I’ve had best luck layering with creamy products like Laura Mercier’s undereye concealer pot.)
I usually apply undereye cream and let it soak in before applying this product, but on those days when I’m in a rush and don’t have time to use eye cream, it applies fine.
I’m hoping by using this product I can avoid lines and spots around my eyes. Pale folks should check it out!

This is not really a concealer, and it’s definitely not a moisturizing eye cream. However, I have been very pleased with it as a sunscreen for the eyes. It has a subtle amount of peach pigment to counteract blue or purple circles and can be used instead of eye primer. It contains titanium dioxide and zinc oxide which physically block UV rays at an SPF rating of 30. It has a matte finish but doesn’t feel drying.
Over the years, I’ve had to reject many sunscreens (usually chemical) which somehow manage to get into my eyes and burn. This one is developed specifically for the eye area so it’s a great item to have in case you are involved in outdoor sports such as tennis or golf, or if you like to go hiking on sunny days. I use it on my eyelids as well as under the eyes. It works well under powder eye shadows instead of eye primer. It doesn’t crease.
Kiehl’s has included licorice root as an anti-inflammatory ingredient and vitamin C which is good for the skin. It also contains caffeine to reduce redness and puffiness.
This lotion will reflect light, so it does help minimize dark circles if you are outdoors in sunlight. However, looking at myself in the mirror indoors, I don’t find this lotion to be sufficient alone to cover dark circles; I still have to apply concealer on top of this to completely cancel them out.
The texture is liquid rather than creamy but it dries quickly and doesn’t emphasize fine lines or expression lines around my eyes. If you have very dry eyelids, I recommend using a small amount of moisturizer first and then applying this over it for sun protection.
Safe for sensitive skin and contact lens wearers. However, it’s not marketed as waterproof so I don’t know if it will withstand a day at the pool.
Cons? $38 is expensive for small tube, and this doesn’t eliminate my need for concealer. Otherwise, a great product for summer.

This review is for – “Kiehl’s Clearly Corrective Dark Circle Perfector SPF 30”.
An eye-cream that – “doesn’t irritate eyes + improves their appearance + contains SPF & beneficial ingredients” – may sound like a fantasy..! But it looks like Kiehl’s has managed to make this eye-cream fantasy a reality.
Product Details
============
Kiehl’s chemists proudly offer a new 3-action solution to address dark circles that instantly brightens and perfects, reduces discolorations and protects against future darkening. A light-weight tinted eye cream with lasting buildable coverage, Kiehl’s Clearly Corrective Dark Circle Perfector SPF 30 is made with SPF that specifically helps prevent and correct age-related factors from UVA/UVB damage.
Key Ingredients
=============
Activated C : A Vitamin C-derived ingredient with unique discoloration correcting benefits. Within the formula, this powerhouse ingredient helps reduce the appearance of under-eye dark circles caused by melanin and prevents the formation of future discolorations. In addition, it helps clarify skin tone and smooth skin texture.
Caffeine : An antioxidant-rich, naturally occurring substance which is obtained as an ingredient in coffee. Known for its anti-inflammatory properties and ability to increase micro-circulation, within the formula it helps to reduce the appearance of puffiness and dark circles
Titanium Dioxide : A naturally occurring mineral with a high refractive index, this ingredient helps to block UV rays and provides broad spectrum UVA/UVB protection. This mineral sun filter is ideal for the sensitive eye area as it is gentler than other UV absorbing chemical sunscreens to better help protect the delicate eye area and prevent premature aging.
Mineral Pigments : Amino Acid treated mineral pigments instantly diminish the appearance of dark circles and help to brighten the under-eye area.
Product packaging, texture & colour
============================
It is a light-weight, creamy liquid formula having a beige tint with a neutral undertone. Comes packed in an opaque squeeze tube that is travel-friendly. Product quantity is 15 ml / 0.5 fl. oz.
Direction
========
The brand recommends to layer Clearly Corrective Dark Circle Perfector on top of your daily eye cream, using a gentle tapping motion under the eye area. It may also be applied to the eyelid. Its natural mineral tint provides immediate coverage and brightens the under eye area.
NOTE :
1) Regarding application of this product “on top of your daily eye cream”, as mentioned above, I would like to add that I have not been combining it with my regular eye cream – mainly because I wanted to use the product just by itself to understand its full potential and I think it provides decent hydration in the current weather levels of my city – Mumbai; but I might combine it with my eye cream in the winter months.
2) Regarding application of this product on the eyelid, I will not recommend that if you have oily lids. My eyelids are normal and upon application this product blends well and instantly lends a soft luminous look to the full eye area.
My eye area
==========
I have prominent under-eye dark circles; my eye-area skin type is normal with a tendency to become slightly dry in winters. I have fine lines and wrinkles under my eyes. In terms of sensitivity, I would say that my eye-area skin is very sensitive – such that any eye-cream or good moisturiser won’t do as it may sting or irritate.
My experience with the product
=========================
I really like multi-use products and this eye cream really has it all – it conceals, treats and protects. It is extremely lightweight – not heavy. It applies gently without tugging the delicate eye area. It isn’t drying and doesn’t build up in the fine lines below the eyes. A little goes a long way and the application is very smooth. The dark circle coverage I get is about 60-70% – which is fine with me. If I want full coverage then I layer it with a non-SPF concealer and/or foundation. The formula lasts me all day – provided I set it with a loose translucent powder. This eye cream is perfect for my sensitive eye area – no burning or watery eyes. It is a little runny, so you got to be careful when squeezing the tube. Some good things to note – it is paraben free, fragrance free and ophthalmologist-tested. Comes in only one shade that caters to fair-skinned individuals and may not be suitable for someone with darker skin tone.
Final words
=========
Would I recommend this product? If you are a fair-skinned individual looking for a multi-purpose eye product to use in the morning that will save you a couple of steps, then yes- I would recommend this product. I would say the coverage is good for someone with a minor case of dark circle. However, if you have a serious case of dark circles, you might find the coverage a little light. Clearly, this product is not really meant to be a hydrating eye cream, so during the winter months you will have to layer this on top of a hydrating eye cream. Is it brightening my eye area? Yes, but slowly; it is to be noted that any brightening formula takes a while to work…so patience is the key. The SPF definitely helps to prevent further damage. This is a good product – I like it.

I went to buy the Clearly Corrective spot remover.
The SA (and the website) said it’s also an eye primer. I’ve never used a product that gave me this much product build up in my upper eyelid area. I bought it mainly as a concealer with SPF. Total waste of my money!
