This eye cream lasts a long time in the jar as it’s very thick. As with many Japanese skin care products, a little goes a long way. I put a light layer of this under makeup. At night, it makes my skin swell a bit too much: I’m not a night eye cream person because it tends to draw water into bags under the eye.
It’s not greasy and not very oily-moisturizing so for very dry people, it could be insufficient. I have normal skin and am over 65 so have that slight dehydration you can’t help having. For my needs, it’s just fine and it lasts me a long time. I got it in a set, probably would not buy on its own.

A nice product but not amazing. I prefer the eye serum.

There’s nothing special about this eye cream…just another overpriced Tatcha item. It’s thick and takes a while to really sink in. I got it in a kit from QVC, which is about the only way this brand is affordable.

I liked this but I don’t feel like it did anything other than some hydration. Not at all worth the high price point.

I received a sample of this in a GWP set. I don’t know if I got a bad batch, but the texture was thick and did not absorb well at all. I had to rub it quite a bit to get it to work into my skin, which is not what one should do with the delicate eye area. Other than that, it felt moisturizing like a rich cream and I found it unremarkable given the price.

This eye cream is as bad as the other reviewers claim. Initially I thought it absorbed quickly and was unscented, both which are plusses. However, as I was getting ready for bed, my eyelids started to itch, and they felt sticky/gummy from the eye cream! It was the strangest thing – I’d try to rub my eyes and my eyelids felt tacky. Contemplating using the rest of my sample on my face instead of my eyelids. Pass on this one!

This eye cream is priced like many luxury brands, but offers none of the benefits to warrant it. I’ve tried many of Tatcha’s offerings, and have liked one – their blotting papers. Packaged in a cheap tin, this eye cream failed at every chance I gave it. I couldn’t bring myself to toss this expensive eye cream and have brought it out a couple of times a month to give it another shot. Sadly, it fails me every time.
It seems no matter how much or how little I apply, this cream flakes and pills off my eye area, even when I have nothing else on my skin. As I mentioned, I adjusted the amount I was using and it didn’t make a bit of difference. It sits atop my skin until it flakes and pills/balls up and eventually off altogether. What a disappointment, and a complete waste of money. I suppose it’s time I finally place it in the garbage.

I purchased a small sample of this from the Tatcha website, and it has lasted me for several months. I have used it nearly every night, but I don’t think it’s done anything for me. If anything, I feel like I have more light wrinkles under my eyes and darker eye-circles, maybe because I’m pregnant, or maybe because I’m just getting older. But this eye cream is not helping regardless, so I would not purchase it again.

I’ve been using the Tatcha Ageless Renewal Eye Cream with great results. The texture of the eye cream is somewhere between a gel (which it is not) and a true cream but without the greasiness or thickness of many eye creams. It goes on easily – a little goes a long way – and absorbs quickly without leaving a greasy mess. My eye area is moisturized without greasiness and my eye makeup stays on for a change. Any puffiness is gone with this product. I have not experienced any irritation, breakouts or blemishes anywhere on my face with this product. The ingredient list can be found on their website and their customer service is phenomenal. If you’re on the fence about trying this or their other products that form the basis for their skincare regimen, try the sampler set. I found that slowly introducing the products one by one helped me determine if my skin could tolerate these products and they did. The result for me was soft, hydrated, and even-toned skin overall including the eye area.

My under eye area has always been problematic. I have very dark circles (hereditary) and crepiness(due to dryness) when I smile. Tatcha states that this is “an intensive eye cream with deep anti-aging properties. Our Revitalizing Eye Cream nourishes and purifies skin, resulting in a decreased appearance of puffiness, dark circles and eye spots.” Also, “The effective formula harnesses proven ingredients that work in harmony to promote microcirculation, preventing and reversing the signs of premature aging.” I did not purchase the full size product because it is ridiculously expensive at $135 for half an ounce. Instead, I got a 5 ml deluxe sample that came in a little pot. Believe it or not, it goes a long way. After 6 months of day and night use on my under eye skin and a bit on the tops of my cheekbones, I’ve finally run out. I would have purchased the full size if it was a miracle product; however, I can honestly say that it has done nothing but give my under eye area small bumps (milia?). It feels quite emoillient at first, but then it dries down and doesn’t feel too greasy. It didn’t keep my skin hydrated/moisturized though. I don’t suffer from under eye puffiness, so I can’t say whether it helps that or not, but it definitely didn’t help diminish my dark circles nor has helped fade the slight sun damage at the tops of my cheekbones (I use sunscreen daily of course). When I first got the sample, I emailed CS to get the ingredients, and they were reluctant to give them to me because they didn’t want competitors to have them, which I felt was a bit ridiculous (IMHO). I’m glad to see that they’ve finally listed the full ingredients of all their products on their website. There is nothing special about this line; no secret anti-aging ingredients. In fact, I found many of them to be irritating due to containing talc and alcohol among other irritants. They’re simply over priced and over hyped IMO. One can find much more effective products for less $$$. Obviously, this gets a thumbs down from me.
