I got the wet and wild base coat, nail polish and fast dry top coat . The base coat chipped fast as well as the polish and the top coat I wouldn’t recommend it.

Good base coat. Dries quickly and prevents yellowing and chipping.

I absolutely LOVE THIS PRODUCT. I had been switching between several high end base coats and was pretty happy with them. I had tried cheaper base coats over the years and they never protected my nail from dark colors and they caused my favorite nail polishes to chip early. This stuff has seriously blown away all the base coats I was using, including Dior. I can EASILY get 7-9 days with no chipping at all if I put a top coat on every 2-3 days. My nails look great and this is one of the best base coats I have ever used and I cannot believe it is $1. I love it when that happens!

ETA: its now 8/2017 – 8 months after this post and I’m still using this base coat as a top coat on my nails every time I do my nails. I have other clear polishes and top coats but this one just works on every level; shiny, fast drying (like 1 minute), goes on smooth, super cheap! and no chips on my nails.

I agree with others – this is one the best and cheapest base (and top) coats out there. I found my bottle at Walmart – the last one – marked down to 25 cents! I’ve used it under dark polishes – works great (easy to remove polish and no staining) and then as a TOP COAT – it works amazing! Even better than Seche Vite – yes. I have Seche and after 3 different times of trying to use it – within 10 hours (next morning) one of my nails was always completely chipped off.
However, using this stuff? here I am – already next day – and no issues. I paid $10 for Seche after seeing all the rave reviews and it was such a waste to me. This stuff, for 25 cents no less, works 100% better. Love it. As a top coat – it leaves my nails super shiny. Base coat – works amazing for a base and no staining.

I love this base coat, it is very inexpensive and it helps nail polish last long. It’s thin on the nail so the coat(s) of the polish you use don’t end up being thick. I definitely will repurchase, as my polish will usually last me anywhere from a week and a half to two weeks without chipping and or minor chipping compared to when I don’t use it. I do use a top coat as well and I’m sure that contributes to it though.

Best base coat I’ve tried. ( I won’t purchase anything over 10 bucks though) Nail polish won’t chip and lasts for days. I even use this as a top coat and it works great as both for me.
The cap does come off, and I have to twist with pressure to get the brush out…but I don’t mind b/c the product is high quality.

This is one of the only base coats I’ve tried, but I’ve liked it enough to have recently bought a third bottle as backup. I don’t have deep ridges so I can’t say anything about that, but it dries clear despite the purple tint and fast too. Application is usually smooth too unless I don’t have enough base on the brush. I haven’t really experienced staining despite wearing polish a lot (my nails don’t even look that yellow like they can be after prolonged polish use), and it helps make my manicures wear like iron, even if I’m wearing peel off base coat underneath for easier removal. It’s real cheap too, which is always a plus.

Love the product, but will never buy again due to black cap that breaks on new packaging and the new wonky brush! I loved the older plain package!

Got this in the recently redesigned bottle, which looks nice, but the black outer lid came undone from the brush part and I have to loosen the brush then twist the outer cap back on to use it. I don’t know if this is the case with all the new bottles or I just got the “lucky” one.
Otherwise, I am thoroughly pleased with it: cheap (.99), protects nails against staining from dark polish, helps manicures last without chipping (2 weeks most recently with a coat of this, two coats of W N W Megalast “Private Viewing” and a top coat of W N W Wild Shine Matte which I did redo a few times as the matte finish buffs to a slight shine over the course of about 3-5 days, and it even looks nice, but it never happens uniformly over all my nails, so I just matte them all again).
It applies thinly, does not fill in ridges and feels “tacky”, but it seems to allow nail polish a chance to really hold on and flow smoothly.
I don’t think it would work well by itself, but as a base coat I recommend anyone try it. I have even used it with just a top coat of the Wet N W Wild Shine Matte for a natural look.

I picked this up because it was dirt cheap and I needed a base coat. It dries fast and goes on smoothly, although it doesn’t seem to help with ridges so if you’re looking for that it may not work for you. When used with a decent polish and top coat, it seems to extend most manicures. Like all top/base coats that you love, though, it does get thick halfway through the bottle. If you’re looking for a simple, cheap basecoat that gets the job done check this one out.
