This stuff is GREAT. super cheap and dries fast. Average wear time is three to four days with minor chipping.

Everyone wants to praise SV all the time, but do those people really go out and try all different salon quality top coats to compare? Doubt it. Dont get me wrong SV is a good top coat but this one as well as diamonds (Found at sallys) are just as good or better and for a fraction of the cost. I even got a bottle of diamond top coat free once with my purchase.

After reading reviews I decided to give this a go to compare to SV…I have to say i LOVE the wet look and I think this stuff really delivers.
With Orly Bonder on the bottom and really any NP, this lasts just as well for me, with chip wear on the tips only if I don’t touch up with dark colors. With a touch up at day three/4 and another top coat, I can totally go about a week. AND it stays super shiny.
Even tried with cheapo polish and as long as I use Bonder – A OK. I definitely will repurchase.

Drys unbelievably fast to a very glossy finish. And at only $3.99 at Sally’s it’s definitely worth trying. My only complaint is the stiff, rigid brush… Makes applying difficult and causes streaking if you aren’t careful. But the product itself is awesome!

I liked this at first but after a couple of months the solution gets SO thick. It bubbles up and you can see the bluish tinge on your nails. The only good thing about this is the shine you get, but you can achieve this with other products. Go for Seche Vite ALWAYS. The best top coat.Thicker coats like this one tend to have less wear power….the thinner your varnish, the longer your nails will not chip. A thin top coat and subsequent under-layers are a must!

Good product for the money, however it dulls out after a couple days of use which means reapplying.

I’ve probably tried close to 20 various top coats ranging in price from $1-15. This is hands down my favorite. It dries very glossy and smooth. If you’re careful not to paint all over your cuticles, it will look like you have a salon manicure. The finish looks very similar to Seche Vite, and although it dries a little slower, it’s half the price and you can actually finish the bottle, because it doesn’t seize up. I would definitely recommend this over Seche Vite, OPI, Essie or anything you can buy in a drug store.

I got this from Sally’s for around $4 with my Pro Preferred card. Without out the card it is around $4.50. Which isn’t bad at all. This top coat makes my nail polish look extra shiny. I feel with it on, it helps prevent chips. I really do like this top coat. I almost prefer it over Seche Vite. It also dries very quickly. However I wouldn’t apply it unless your color is dry like any topcoat.

Poshe was shrinking and making my nail polish peel off in sheets. Not even thinning it was helping. Finally I had spent a good chunk of time painting my nails only to have it peel off in sheets after only 1 day! To say I went ballistic was an understatement. I was rec’d by the nail board Nubar Diamont as the toughest wearing top coat, but I couldn’t wait that long for a mail order or really want to pay that much. I decided to give Oh So Wet! a try because there’s a Sally’s nearby that carries it and it was cheap. It’s consistency is much thinner than Poshe and other quick dry top coats and it dries almost as fast (maybe 10-15 minutes to be dry to the touch). The only thing is that while the surface of the nail is dry it’s still mushy underneath. A few times I’ve put it on before bed only to wake up with sheetmarks imprinted on them (granted they’re not that deep or noticeable). So just make sure you give it a good while to dry. It also doesn’t shrink like SV or Poshe so my manicure lasts longer and doesn’t peel off in sheets. I think it’s shinier than Poshe too. Also because it’s thinner you need to put a lot more on you brush before applying and maybe 2 coats of it on, otherwise you will see faint brushstrokes on your nails. My manicures can last at least 5 days to a week with this and using it as a refresher when I see cracks appear. There’s no way I’d ever go back to Poshe after this.
