I am a minority, but this product is the very first one in my 53 y. o. life that broke me out. I have a blessed skin with very very little “upps”es once in a decade, I can apply foot cream to undereye area and still look great. Well, after this toner I have pimples bordering with systic acne. Terrified. So beware!

My decision to purchase this product was mostly based on a great experience with a very lovely and convincing brand rep. But I’m so glad she stalked me in Sephora! I talked with her about my skin concerns and she promised me this would help. My combo-oily acne prone skin really loves this, but I understand it’s great for all skin types. When my first bottle was almost gone, for a few days I contemplated trying something else but could not give this up.
I like toners in general, but find them either too strong and chemically (especially those marketed to acne prone skin), drying or weak/ineffective. I have been searching for a real ‘treatment’ toner for years. The last good one I used was Pixie’s Glow toner, but my skin got used to it and it didn’t do much for me, and was drying. When I use this, there is *always* some debris on the cotton square. It purifies the skin so well without sucking the life out of it, it’s actually moisturizing and soothing.
I wear liquid makeup every day and break-out all the time, so I want my toner to balance my skin to prepare it for the next product without being to harsh, remove residue left from cleansing, and help purify my pores. This does all of that!! As other ladies have mentioned, the bottle is so luxurious and prevents you from wasting product. I will never be without this.
My only ‘con’ is the amount of product you get for the price. The bottle has a narrow tube inside, almost a capsule, that holds the product and so you are getting less product than it appears. A bottle lasts me about 3-4 months using it each morning and some nights. All in all, I love it. It pairs very well with the Essence! That saleswoman talked me into the Essence too, but these tow products have really changed my skin for the better!!

Edit- Repurchased. This is a must-have

This is worth the money because it stopped my breakouts and inflamed skin not only from getting worse (which my Lush Celestial moisturizer was doing its best to but I was. Still breaking out here and there) but it also took only 1 and a half weeks for my skin to completely calm down and clear up. It was super sensitive and acne-prone, pimples galore, yay!

I was recommended this by a sephora employee who gave me a whole skincare routine on the spot and applied all amore pacific products (except for moisturizer as she said I shd stick to the Lush cream )–

my skin felt calm, clean, and this toner completely got rid of the hot/parched/burning feeling I have had for the past few MONTHS every day. I was using a Shiseido toner before (the aqua bottle) but this toner is far superior.
I have used the Enzyme peel a few days, but the toner every day. That’s what I mainly credit for the extraordinary change in my skin, it works amazingly with that Lush cream for an overall calm clear complexion. (The enzyme peel is also worth every penny by the way) I also got the cleansing oil for makeup-wearing days. None of these products are purchases that I regret, despite the price.
As for packaging, I like how so little comes out so you don’t waste it, just shake it a bit to get the right amount and then you never get excess out.

I originally tried this product from Amore Pacific boxed products that contained the toner, cleanser, face cream/gel, and enzyme peel. I actually quite like this brand so maybe I’m biased now. But this brand has not done anything negative to my skin so I’ve continued to use it. The toner itself is light pink and has a pleasant smell to it. If you’re sensitive to scented products, I’d recommend smelling it in a Sephora or wherever that sells it, prior to purchasing. But I like the scent and it does fade after you put it on so it doesn’t linger. I put the toner on a cotton pad and then wipe it on my face and neck. I find it helps remove any residual makeup and/or oil on the face prior to skincare routine. Also, it doesn’t make my face dry. My skin feels tight right after washing my face and after applying the toner, my face doesn’t feel so tight so I know it’s beneficial to my skin. The packaging itself is frost colored glass and a silver cap. For travel purposes, I actually pour some out in a smaller container so I’m not too worried about that. In the boxed set, it comes with a small container so I’ve been using that and refilling it when I travel. My skin did not react to it at all and it does not sting if I apply it over popped pimples and/or cuts that I got on my face (guilty). Overall, I would definitely recommend and repurchase as I already have. 🙂 Unfortunately, it is expensive but because my skin has not reacted to this brand and has been serving me well, I will continue to buy.

Im a toner fanatic and neeeeed it!! I would use toner over moisurizer if i was given only one choice. I have used many many different toners from Sheseido, Sothys, Shu Uemura, La Mer, Bliss, Clinique, Ole Henrickson, Murad ,etc. First and foremost it must absorb and take off any remaining yuckies. Secondly it cant take 10 minutes to dry. It must make my skin feel moisturized without a feeling of residue leftover. This does all of that!!! I am so happy i found it at sephora in NYC. I would have purchased it from Bergdorf Goodman anyway if I hadnt. Unfortunately I will need to order it off Sephora.com or make the drive to Bloor St Holt Renfrew seeing as Amorepacific products are only sold at 2 locations in Canada. I thonk this may be my HG toner. It’s just such better quality than all the rest I’ve tried in the past.

I love this toner. Its alchohol free and water free, using red ginseng extract as opposed to water. I’ve used and loved this for over 2yrs and wholeheartedly recommend. Before this product I never understood the point of toners, but after using a sample for a wk or so, I was hooked and ordered a bottle before the sample even ran out. It takes off the remnants of my cleanser and makes my skin soft and preps it for serum and other skin care. Its quite pricey, but unfortunately I’m hooked on the glow that Amore Pacific products give my skin.
