I LOVE this. I have used this toner 2 times now and my face looks already so much better. My skin is combination and sometimes very oily. I knew the smell reminded me of something and now I know it smells like alcohol and Guerlain Meteorites. Doesn’t bother me because I love Guerlain Meteorites.
I know people are scared of putting alcohol on their face but I think my toners NEED to have alcohol in them.

I’ve been using this toner for a few weeks now and I’m impressed.
I’ve been a fan of MB for quite a few years now, having started on the papaya enzyme mask many moons ago, and moving onto the night creams and some day creams. I especially love the enzyme cleanser, which has been an on-off staple for a few years now.
I decided to give this a go based on trying to find an astringent type toner as opposed to a simple rosewater/glycerine/ not-much-else-involved toner, and I’m really liking it, as sometimes simple does equal the best.
Pros:
* cheap (in Aus, this isn’t available in drugstores, only online and at Mecca, which is considered a prestige/higher end beauty store), about $22 for a bit bottle I believe. While not cheap, I consider it so for a mid range brand
* packaging- comes in a squeezable plastic bottle with a nozzle that flips up. Easy to dispense product onto a cotton pad, non waste
* smell- strong but pleasant scent. Same goes with most MB products, some which I’m not a fan of such as the cleaner previously mentioned. The scents are usually strong but not unpleasant.
* not too strong – doesn’t burn or dry out my skin
* simple and effective – removes oil and excess makeup or dirt still present after cleansing, without drying out the skin. Also seems to prevent breakouts but I’ll come back to this at a later date
Cons:
* not readily available where I live
* scent could be considered too strong for some
All around a fairly effective and simple toner. More of a daily staple as opposed to a “wow” luxury item, but that’s also what I really like about the brand

This toner really works great on my acne-prone, oily skin! I can feel my skin produce less oil! Before I use this toner, my whole skin will oily in two hours and started to breakout but this toner really a life changing! I can feel my pores like this toner and calm my breakout, also fasten healing process on new acne scar. Will definitely use this as my permanent toner. I think this product suit someone with oily, acne-prone but not sensitive skin.

Works well as a toner. Sometimes the faint alcohol smell irks me. Other than that it cleans well and doesnt break me out or cause sensitivity. Been through 3 bottles of this!

I have sensitive, acne-prone skin, and this toner gave me an allergic reaction after using it a few times. I developed a rash and tiny itchy bumps all over my face

very refreshing, however the smell was too strong and it was too drying.

Heard only good things about this, so I decided to give it a try. I’ve been using their cleansing solutions for a while, and love them. At first, this product was ok on my skin.
I have what I call “dormant” pimples. They are there on my face, but not very obvious, and will only come out when my skin is in a bad condition.
What I like about the product would be its “clean” feeling and its lack of smell. However, it did feel like my face had a slight stinging sensation. Wasn’t too bothered as I thought that it meant that the lotion ‘was working’. I would carefully apply it on my pimpes when I do break out.
Was lazy to apply it and stopped using it for a few weeks. When I went back to apply it, I realised that I had a break out two days later. Now, I’ve stopped using it and my skin is actually looking better (than when I was using it). Will not repurchase.

It’s sad to say that this is the third product of MB I used that I expect too much on and ended up with a horrible result. Used it for 3 weeks and stopped using it today. The first few days was okay-ish. Some whiteheads suddenly appeared, but I ignored it at first because the toner gives me less oily t-zone and it is the ONLY reason why I love this toner. But then I realized that it was too strong for my dry patches on my cheeks. My face gets worse the week after. I start getting small red bumps, more whiteheads and a few acne here and there. It’s the worst skin condition I have ever had in my life 🙁 I will not repurchase this toner, ever.

I have never been a huge fan of toners, but I find this very pleasant and soothing on my skin, despite it not having the most impressive ingredient list on the market. It doesn’t strip or irritate, and feels refreshing. My face has been healing very nicely since using this. Love!

I bought this after I tried the regular cucumber lotion. Since I have acne, I thought that the regular cucumber lotion wasn’t strong enough for me and decided to try this. It’s slightly astringent, but still gentle and moisturizing. I didn’t get the results that I wanted after using this for 3 months, so I moved on to something else.
