This product stung my skin horribly upon application, leaving it angry and red. I hate that this toner did not work out for me. It’s rare to find a well-formulated toner at a great price that works for oily skin. The ingredients list is short and truly natural. Given the amount of soothing ingredients it contains, I’ve narrowed the stinging culprit down to the namesake pycnogenol. Too bad.

This is an awesome toner! Doesn’t irritate my sensitive rosacea skin so two thumbs up! The packaging is not so exciting though, but its price is, so not a big issue there. 🙂 Highly recommend this product!

On my second bottle; I really like this product. I use it (on a cotton ball) after I shave my face during my PM shower (I’m a dude), then spray a layer of Paula’s Choice Clinical Redness Relief; I then use it after my AM shower the next morning. It feels genuinely soothing, hydrates without feeling or looking greasy and I like that the Pycnogenol is a relatively novel ingredient (not aware of many, if any, other brands using it) that’s ACTUALLY got some research proving it can do what Derma E is claiming it can AND that it’s not among the last ingredients listed (drives me straight to Bonkersville and won’t let me leave when an ingredient IN A PRODUCT’S NAME is the last one on the ingredient list). All in all, a very straightforward product that serves a specific niche for me perfectly.

This product may be the cause to my breakout. I didn’t think it did too much for my skin & it also felt a bit irritating. Not worth ordering!

I wanted to try this because of the good reviews and good ingredients but I had a hard time finding it anywhere. Finally decided to order it online after seeing it on drugstore.com (which had it on sale for $12 a bottle). I’ve just started using it, but so far I like it. It’s light, non-greasy and has a lot of beneficial ingredients and no irritating ones.
I don’t always like to use a moisturizer in the summer, but I like to put something on my face after I wash that has antioxidants. In cooler weather, I like to use a toner under my moisturizer or serum to boost antioxidants. This toner works well for both purposes. The color of the toner (amber) doesn’t bother me, and frankly, I don’t know why it would bother anyone since it doesn’t leave a trace on the skin.
So far, it’s one of the best-formulated, reasonably-priced toners I’ve found. Recommended!

I just finished my first bottle of this. It did the job. I felt that it took off any remaining makeup and prepped my face for my serums. My only gripe is that the liquid is a brownish color and I prefer it to be clear. I would purchase this again but I have since found Simple micellar water for half the price and it works the same– and it’s clear!

I bought this toner due to its favorable review on Paula’s Choice however it is actually pretty irritating and drying to my sensitive skin. Saw no benefits after extended use. If you have sensitive skin on the dry side, don’t bother with this.

I bought this toner because Beautipedia recommends it for its beneficial ingredients and for my dry and sensitive skin type. It’s a brown liquid. It didn’t irritate my skin, but it left it feeling dry. I mixed it half and half with distilled water. In this concentration it works for my skin. I’ll use up what I have, but I won’t repurchase.

I love this product!!! I was skeptical to try because of the high price, I didn’t want to waste my money but this stuff is awesome!!! I had a breakout when I started using this and it definitely cleared my face! It Leaves my face feeling clean but is not drying and tight! I will absolutely repurchase this amazing toner!!!

This is a fabulous toner that does not dry out the skin. I have very oily skin that breaks out frequently. I have always been taught that an astringent/toner is not a necessary step in the cleansing ritual. However, sometimes I don’t feel like I have gotten all of my makeup off, or I feel greasy from sunscreen use. I use this at night to make sure I have no residual make up left on my face.
