This toner is my absolute favourite! I’ve re-purchased this four times 🙂
The toner is a very lightweight liquid. No scent. No residue. I use it with a cotton pad & swipe it all over my face & neck. Always leaves my skin feeling refreshed & lightly hydrated after cleansing. If I run out of this, I always notice a decline in my skin texture so this proves to me it really works!
Those sensitive to Niacinamide take extra precaution as this is one of the main ingredients to reduce appearance of pores.
Since using this toner & BHA liquid combo, I’ve noticed a difference in my pores & general improvement to my skin.
Overall, if you have combination skin and prefer lightweight & refreshing products, I highly recommend this.

This is my favourite toner I’ve ever used. It’s hard to find toners for oily skin that do not use alcohol as the second ingredient, or have other problematic ingredients. Instead this has antioxidants and ceramides, and I find it to be hydrating and “balancing” as the name implies. It helps reduce the appearance of my pores, which is a plus. Overall I’m satisfied as it is not irritating like most toners for oily skin, and actually has beneficial ingredients in it.

I’m on my second bottle of this and will not order again. I find this to be completely useless. It may remove leftover makeup/sunscreen but my cotton pad always comes away clean so I don’t really see any evidence. Her products (I’m aware that she sold the company and is a spokesman only) are starting to be silly i.e. an eye cream, really? After telling us for YEARS that it wasn’t necessary to use a separate cream for eyes! Her products always worked for me in the past so it’s obvious that the new company does not care about research and is only interested in profit. Bye Paula…..

This is without doubt my all time favourite toner! I have been using this toner consistently for the last 15 years and I simply cannot do without it. It is everything I could ever ask for in liquid form! In the summer months this is basically all I need, after cleansing I apply this and follow with my exfoliant, serum and either day cream with SPF or night cream. In the summer I use nothing but this after cleansing and maybe my exfoliant.
Filled to the brim with skin identical ingredients, cell communicating ingredients, anti irritants and antioxidants. For the price your paying it is a steal! No fragrance, no colour, no animal testing, just sound scientific based no frills skin care. A definite staple in my skin care cabinet, my only bone to pick with this and in fact most of Paula’s Choice is the packaging, I wish it could look a little more elegant, a bit drab the packaging.
I will continue to purchase this and recommend it to all friends and family and lovers! Thanks Paula 🙂

I always thought toners were meant to be alcohol or otherwise astringent cleaners that took off gunk and oil. Little did I know that this makes the problem worse.
On the other hand, overly hydrating toners either feel weird or cause me to break out.
PC’s Pore Reducing Toner is the perfect balance. It will gently clean out your excess oil, makeup, dirt, etc. that your cleanser might miss, but it also soothes and lightly hydrates the skin. Finally! A toner that’s just right.

Lightweight toner for oily skins that hydrates without adding too much moisture. Did not break me out and after 4 months of use I can see a difference in my pore size. Love it!

This provides my skin with a thin layer of lightweight hydration so I can use much less moisturizer (my combo/oily skin doesn’t like it when I use more than a small amount of ANY moisturizer). You’re supposed to apply this to a cotton pad and brush over your face and neck, but I don’t want any of the product to be soaked up on a pad and wasted, so I just pour a little in the palm of my hand and use my fingers to apply.
Paula’s Choice claims this can “help tone down oily skin and minimize pore size”. I actually find that for my skin, it’s better to switch to their RESIST Weightless Advanced Repairing Toner in the summer, which is even more lightweight IMO. I have not noticed this product doing much for my pore size or oiliness – if I need a product to fix those issues I reach for Paula’s Choice BHA 9 (daily use/spot treatment) or their 4% BHA foam (once a week all over the face).
This, along with PC’s RESIST Weightless Advanced Repairing Toner are two of the best toners for combo/oily skin I’ve tried.

Really like this.

I love this toner. Before using this I found toners either too drying or just ineffective. This really soothes my skin and makes my skin feel refreshed after cleansing. Doesn’t irritate or feel heavy at all. I have very oily combo skin and find using this really helps

I have been using this for a year now and am just now on my second bottle. The thing about toners is that everyone says they are an important post cleansing step, I never believed this (marketing gimmick and all) because most of the time they contained exorbitant amounts of alcohol. This PC version is great! It gives you a whole load of skin cell communicating ingredients with great proven chemicals such as ceramides and nicinamide.
Apart from this, I have found that my skin has calmed down considerably since I began using it, it feels more well balanced and less sensitive. I think it may be because it renews the ingredients my skin needs which it looses when cleansed.
I have been using it every night after cleansing and follow up with a serum and oil/ moisturiser. In the morning I use the PC BHA toner. Overall I see no reason why I wouldn’t buy this again.
