I got a 50ml sample of this with a purchase of the argan oil-rosehip roll on, so I took it with me for a 3 week trip to Europe in late August-early September. For the late summer in an European climate, it was perfect, and even though I`ve used it religiously every morning for 3 weeks, I still have a lot of product left. For my mature, oily-combo skin that is acne prone, this did a great job to moisturize, plump, and prepare my skin for make up application. I still used a light cream, though on really hot days I just skipped that and went straight to sunscreen. If you have dry skin, I don`t think this would be moisturizing enough. For the past 8 months my skin has been pretty reactive, with painful bouts of hormonal acne, but this product hydrated without clogging my pores, the way HadaLabo toners have done. I would repurchase.

I got this from airport when it’s on 30% sales. I don’t think I will buy it without any discount though. I usually use this after my FTE, pour a few drops on my palm and press on my skin. The smell is heavenly and my skin is immediately plumped up. I read through the ingredient list and found out there is alcohol and fragrance, but I guess I’m ok with them as I couldn’t detect any alcohol smell and the rose smell is very natural. I think if u like rose smell and looking for a normal hydrating lotion, this is an ok product. But if you are looking for something deeply hydrating, I guess you might wanna pair it with their famous Argan oil to see if the combo is hydrating enough.

Gorgeous toner .
Too moisturizing for humid weather IMO.
But PERFECT for autumn/winter.
Beautiful scent . My second fav toner (1st being orlane b21 vitalizing lotion)
I’ve SUPER prone to redness, acne, itchy dry skin living in Asia .

This is a hyaluronic acid-packed essence / toner / lotion. Its texture is more viscous than that of a regular toner, pretty similar to the “sticky” texture of La Mer’s Treatment Lotion and Hada Labo’s lotion.
I have tried most of these “waters”, as Melvita puts it and I have to say this didn’t break me out the way Hada Labo did (it really clogged my skin up), but it didn’t hydrate the way La Mer’s Treatment Lotion did either. It smells lovely, of roses but is this a must-have in your skincare routine? Personally, I do not see it as a necessity if you already incorporate a hydrating serum in your routine, but if you have really dehydrated skin and you are in need of a serious boost of hydration, I’d say go for the La Mer Treatment Lotion instead.
The La Mer Treatment Lotion is costly, but you do get more benefits in a larger bottle (150ml), and I only ever use two-three drops at a time – one bottle lasts me over 6 months.
The Melvita Rose Extraordinary Water, on the other hand, comes in a 100ml bottle, and I normally use this up within a month or so, as I find myself pouring out more product to get that nice, soothed and hydrated feel. I sure sound weird here but those with dehydrated skin would perhaps get what I mean. 🙂
In all, it isn’t a bad product, I used to use this in the hotter months back in uni, but have since moved on to using La Mer’s Treatment Lotion exclusively as this really does make my skin feel more comfortable and hydrated.

This is a lovely product with quite a nice amount of hyaluronic acid. It is something in between a toner and a serum, and I’ve begun using it as the equivalent of an “essence” in my European-product version of the 10-step Korean beauty routine. It preps and moisturizes my skin beautifully and after applying this extraordinary water on my skin with my fingers, I add a serum or two depending on the condition and needs of my skin. I would not use this as a serum on its own, I really think you need to pat in either a moisturizing or brightening serum on top. But using it as essence, it works beautifully.

Smells very good but clogged my pores and made my face sticky and I am note sure which ingredient is too blame. But I use it on my eyes , in the morning, after I wash my face. It makes my eyes look clear and skin underneath looks much better. I also use it after I tweeze my eyebrows and it gives me pimples or clogged pores between my eyebrows but I just don’t want to throw it away. It is not cheap.

I liked this as a fun little extra step in my morning routine. A funky watery, gel-like consistency with a lovely rose scent. I finished it, thought about re-purchasing and then realized my skin looks MUCH better without it! After a few days I realized this is chock full of alcohol and fragrance which my skin does not like. Interesting. I’m glad I didn’t have a backup on hand as I would have continued using it.

What the hell, this is just fancy-smelling water in a pretty blue glass bottle. I still love it. It makes me feel so girly and precious when I squirt it on. It’s especially refreshing and cooling in the summertime. I find it helps settle any red or inflamed areas, or overheating. So maybe there IS something to the claims that there’s an ingredient that helps your skin.

Yes, I love it very much. It is really work well on my skin. My skin feel instantly hydrate and plum. It smell very “authentic” rosy.
It has smoothing effect on me as well. I just love Melvita line products.

The only thing I don’t like about this product is that I had to buy it from the Melvita website, which did not offer me free shipping. But the product itself is divine!
It is more like a serum, to be used after cleansing and under moisturizer. I bought it at the onset of fall and am very pleased with the results after a couple of months. It helps to hydrate my skin, smells fantastic (obviously you must like rose), and absorbs quickly. It layers very well under the Jurlique Soothing Day Care Lotion that I have been using. I highly recommend the pair to anyone looking for a soothing, moisturizing treatment.
