I hardly ever write reviews! This stuff really is “Jesus in a bottle” and all of that. In only 3 days, this has managed to clear my skin noticeably. My complexion is brighter and my acne is under control. I live in Canada, where we can’t get P50 1970. I’m curious to try it, although the idea of putting enbalming fluid ingredients on my face is unappealing.

I know P50 1970 gets all the love, but for me this one is my HG. When I started with BR, I used PIGM 400 first and loved the effect, then tried upgrading to 1970 because I heard it was such a game changer. For my sensitive, oily, acne-prone skin, the 1970 was just too harsh and caused constant angry red pimples. After a few months of trying to convince myself that beautiful skin was just on the other side of this “purging,” I finally went back to PIGM 400 a few weeks ago and now have glowing, almost acne-free skin again. I can’t speak to how well it works for age spots, but for my mild upper lip melasma and red post-breakout hyperpigmentation, it works well. I can already see everything fading.
For me, P50 PIGM 400, Masque Vivant, Complexe Serum Iribiol, and Creme Dermopurifante are the HG products from this line and are the only ones I’ll repurchase as long as I can afford them.

I’m a lifer for BR, and thats saying a a lot. There’s just not much skin-care-profiteering BS I can’t see through at this stage, and BR is just different. Its not different and effective BECAUSE its expensive, its expensive because its different; in fact for the echelon of product ranges it falls in its very reasonably priced. Anyway, sorry back to PIGM400. I think this is much less of a star product than p50 1970. Like if you’ve never used BR or yeast on your face it will still rock your world…HOWEVER game changer products that do life changing sh*t instantly only come around so often. Thats my girl p50 1970. PIGM400 is like a junior version of that, and really you can use so much niacinamide in products before you max out its potential (its a very inexpensive ingredient so its in everything and marketed as an expensive addition). You can take nicatinamide supplements, and glow all day every day and use this and it will make you glow like anything with a high concentration of B3 would, but if you’re ready to try BR go for the gold and work backwards is what I suggest:)

I finished a travel size and did not see a difference in the appearance of age spots on my face. I wasn’t sure if I had given this product long enough to have an effect so I bought the regular size. I have now used half the bottle. I alternate it with P50V, also non-phenol. I love this one and have used it for about 6 years. All the varieties of the P50 without phenol are very similar. The difference is mainly the order of ingredients, ie: which ingredients are in the formula in the highest percentage of the total volume. This one has more niacinamide and less exfoliating acids. Since it hasn’t visibly lightened my age spots or made my skin noticeably brighter, I will use it up but then will continue with the P50V only.
