I bought this because I had a TBS discount voucher. I was looking for a toner for my T-Zone oily skin. Among other TBS toner, in which Vitamine E is for dry skin, Tea tree with weird corn powder, pricey Whitening toner I chose this one. Organic with middle raged price sounds good right? At first, I really did not like the toner gel form. But now I get familiar with that. I use 2 drops on the cotton pad and cleanse my face, smell like lemon. After all, my face hydrates, cleanses. Not have tighten pore effect but it is still good with this price. Ok then.

I’ve used quite a few toners in my 36 years on this earth and cannot think of a single one I’ve liked. Until now…
This is a really refreshing toner to use, which seems to help wake up my skin and leave it feeling properly cleansed after my regular routine. Unlike other toners I’ve tried however (Clinique being the major offender here) this has never left my skin feeling stripped, sore or tight which is something I absolutely hate and the reason why I’ve never really included a toner in my regular routine before.
As part of The Body Shop’s Nutriganics range, this is aimed at people whose main concern is the first signs of aging – so not necessarily full-on wrinkles and sagging skin, but the first little lines and slight loss of tone. As I only had a travel sized bottle of this when I initially tried it, I can’t say for certain how good it would be long-term at tackling these issues, but regardless it’s a very pleasant toner to use which has never reacted with my skin or had any adverse effects, so I would be happy to continue using it on that basis alone.
I don’t recall this smelling of anything in particular – just a clean kind of scent – and as I remember it was clear in colour. According to the TBS website it’s ingredients are of 98% natural origin which in my opinion is nothing but a good thing and also means you avoid the dreaded alcohol content so many other toners have a tendency to contain (and which I’m convinced is the ingredient that causes the most havoc for my skin).
I’ve since repurchased this (£10.00 in the UK) and would definitely consider including it as part of my regular routine from now on.

It’s does make my face feel moist after I shower. However, I don’t think it does anything to it. I’ve been using it for almost a year, but I still get break outs. Waste of money. I’m switching back to a good astringent.

Ok, so this is totally gross but this toner has the same texture as saliva. I bought the travel size as I was going away and didn’t want to cart large bottles around. I really disliked the fact that it left a residue on my skin. Despite leaving a film on the skin – it’s not moisturising. After a few days, I found myself rinsing my face after using it. I definitely won’t be repurchasing.

Having been a long time user of SKII’s Facial Treatment Essence, but feeling the price increase, I am in the search of a great softening and revitalizing ‘leave on’ toner. TBS’s version is a great value replacement for some of the high-end brands with great ingredient disclosure. Scent is refreshingly citrus.

Being a 101% TBS fan, I will not give any range a miss. Bought the trial set @S$34.90. I find nothing really special on this toner, I need to put alot on my cotton wool in order to be gentle on my skin since this is more gel like (All the toner soaked on the cotton). I very much prefer TBS Aloe or TBS TTO range. which are cheaper and works better.

I got this in the nutriganics gift set for $12 because it was a sale from the body shop. I tried it after using the foam wash by the same brand and found it to be sticky on my face after. I dont like that it doesnt work well with the nutriganics smoothing day cream. It started to produce this weird white peel residue after putting on the day cream. I thought it was just the cream but when I used a 2 different creams, it produced the same white reside. I even tried the nutriganics smoothing day cream after I put on a different toner and the results was totally fine. No white residue therefore I’ve come to the conclusion that it is the toner that is causing this white reside to appear after putting on any cream. It’s too bad that the body shop would create 2 products in their nutriganics line that dont work well together. The only 2 good things that I can say about this product is the fact that it removes any makeup that the foam cleanser missed and the fact that it has a nice green tea smell.

I got this toner in The Body Shop X-mas calender. It’s a decent toner although it is a bit too drying, especially now in the winter time when my skin is really dry. It has a light scent to it and the packaging is good.
I gave it to my mother so she can use it instead. I wouldn’t purchase this toner in the future. Since my skin is dry I’m having a hard time finding a toner that does not dry out the skin. On the bottle it says that it is good for ageing skin, cannot judge whether it made my skin look younger or not. I didn’t use it for enough time to make a firm judgement.
