   I don’t know why this is rated so high. There’s a lingering soy sauce smell. Makes no difference to the texture of my face.

   Damn I love this, yes it’s sticky, but it makes my skin glossy and perfect when I wake up so I don’t care at all. I was using the Tarte toner and it dried the crap out of my skin, and the minute I switched to this, the last of my texture cleared up, my hydration went back to its normal level and my pores have tightened. The bottle is not my favourite but again, I don’t care because the stuff inside is so damn good I just deal with it. My skin is used to actives so I use this at night with a sheseido cotton pad, and then go in with the rest of my skincare. I find sealing this product in with an oil really works well, so I use my Egyptian Magic cream as my last step at night and my skin has never been better. Will repurchase till the end of time.

   3. Overpriced, considering the first and main ingredient is water.

   There is much that I like about the new Youth to the People Kombucha + 11% AHA Exfoliation Power Toner.  The Youth to the People Power Toner is meant to be used as your daily exfoliant, instead of the traditional exfoliating serum or AHA/BHA Masks or sleeping packs.  This is meant to be used on clean skin immediately after cleansing.  Place several drops on a cotton ball or cotton pad and smooth it over your skin and then do not rinse.  After 30 or so seconds move on to your essence or serum.  

   This product makes adding an exfoliant into your routine very easy, and eliminates having to add this in with a separate step.  I believe that adding a toner and/or exfoliant into your routine can be one of the best additions to a skincare routine.  This is especially true for those dealing with acne, acne scars, blackheads, or dull and flaky skin.  

   The stars of the Kombucha + 11% AHA Exfoliation Power Toner is Lactic Acid and Glycolic Acid.  Thankfully the serum has a PH Level about 4, which is within the range to effectively promote exfoliation.  Youth to the People also included a few other beneficial ingredients such as Arginine, Betaine, and Black Tea Ferment.   With exfoliating products having the potential to cause sensitivity to skin I would have loved to see this Toner include other skin soothing and beneficial ingredients.  This would allow skin to adjust to frequent use faster as well as help prevent skin from becoming dry or flaky while using it.  Although I do appreciate that Youth to the People tries to make ingredient lists on the shorter side and not using lots of “fillers” or slip ingredients.  

   Overall I found this to be a good toner, just not great- recently many products similar to this have been released.  I have tried the Murad Resurfacing Multi Acid Treatment Toner and I found that to be a bit more exfoliating but also more soothing to my skin.  I was able to work up to daily use with that Toner much faster than the YTTP Toner, and I credit that to the inclusion of soothing ingredients and antioxidants in the formula.
