I have the rose version of this . Smells of nothing much . It almost feels like water to me . I have Low expectations of this product since it’s cheap . But I don’t see much positive / negative effects from this . I use it as a toner. Will not repurchase .

On my quest for the perfect micellar water which fits in my budget I stumbled on to this “toner,” which is actually marketed more like a water than toner in Japan. It`s supposed to be shine-reducing while removing oil and moisturizing the skin. “6 minerals and 2 amino acids to balance the skin`s oil production,” reads the Japanese label. I use it in the morning as the first step in my cleansing routine: just take it out of the fridge, apply to a cotton disk and gently clean my face. I was a little anxious, because it seemed somewhat thicker in consistency than my Bioderma, but it`s light and not sticky at all. It cleaned my face really well with just one application, and indeed I could see the shine-reducing effects. Whether that lasts or not throughout the day, I couldn`t really say. I`ve switched to all natural sun block which might be a little too shiny for my combo skin, so this might cancel the effects of the toner. But as for cleaning my face (the main purpose for me) it works great: skin is squeaky clean and yet less tight than other micellar waters. The price is so much more reasonable than Bioderma: 600 JPY for 400ml.
