I was glad to learn that this product is made in Australia and I was even more glad to learn that it was available at the Shoppers Drug Mart near my gym AND that it was on sale. This is a lovely, hydrating mist and it is reasonably priced thanks to the sale pricing. I just noticed today that Dr. Roebuck’s has a whole new web page and this product has been repackaged in an opaque white cylindrical bottle, which probably explains why it’s been out of stock for so long on the website, but mine is the brown glass one pictured. The sprayer on mine doesn’t deliver the most even of mists, but it’s not really a big deal. I do wish I noticed the lovely smell that Redwings and others at other sites report – so far, I haven’t noticed a beachy smell, just a light and pleasant scent. I’m also a bit skeptical (well, more than a bit) about the claims that this can help protect from UV rays….it has NO rating at all for any reliable SPF rating from any recognized organization. In spite of that, I really like this spray – it’s refreshing and hydrating and after a day out in the sun or in a hot car, it feels so refreshing and soothing.

Dr. Roebuck’s is an Australian brand that makes this moderately priced hydrating mist but I couldn’t resist purchasing it, $29CAD for 120 ml (4 fl oz). At least it comes in a dark brown glass bottle and although it is heavy, it keeps light out and prevents/slows down the deterioration of ingredients. It’s true, it smells like the beach and is very fresh and hydrating. It claims to be an “amazing multi-tasker that has multiple benefits for your skin. Helps reduce the appearance of wrinkles, uneven skin tone, sun damage, aging, heals acne, and aids in reduction in hyperpigmentation. Also, improves skin texture and protects against UV damage while improving natural firmness by hydrating skin and soothing it too.” I don’t know if it does any of that but I’m not sorry I bought it and I will buy it again. When I compare this to my beloved Too Faced 3-in-1 HangoveRX Primer and Setting Spray which is $40 CAD for the same amount of product, I’d rather have this.
