I’m not a big fan of toners in general. I think a cleanser should do it’s job and clean all the crap off your face and rinse clean, which makes a toner basically unnecessary. the closest I even come to “toning” in my normal routine is swiping tea tree oil (a few drops on a damp cotton ball) over my face, but that’s more for acne treatment than anything else. anyway, I got a sample of this in a “try me kit”, and decided to give it a try. The way I use this is pour a small amount (about 1/4tsp) into my hand and pat onto my face after swiping it w/ TTO. I let it sink in for 5 minutes or so before following w/ my Devita C-serum. It feels very cooling and refreshing, and it actually *adds* moisture to my skin w/o feeling like I’m just adding another gooey layer. It has also definitely helped reduce inflammation in the post TTOTM acne breakout I’m having right now; it also contains rosemary, sage, and chamomile essential oils which are good for treating acne as well. The smell is very strong rose, and it smells a bit old lady-ish, but it fades pretty quickly, and as the other reviewer noted rosewater/extract is very good for your skin. unlike the other reviewer I have not noticed any stinging. Once I finish up my sample I will be purchasing the full size!

I use this along with the other products in the Devita line. I love this toner. Rosewater is great for any type of skin. It works well at balancing out skin types. It comes in a spray bottle so you just spray it on your face which helps save on the cotton balls. A little goes a long way with this product as well so my bottle has lasted a really long time. Be careful about spraying in your eyes though….it does sting!
