My skin type: acne prone, sensitive. Combo/oily.
When I 1st purchased this toner, I hated it. I used this after the Biore charcoal cleanser. I would let it sit on my face for approx 20mins before I would apply my moisturiser. The menthol is very cooling and initially was a little irritating. It dried my skin horribly, so I could only use it ~weekly. I persisted, and I gradually used it every 3 days or so. To be honest, I was close to throwing it out during the initial phase. I was doing this for approx 2mths (?).
And then we hit summer, temps of up to ~40C (104F). I now use it twice a day, basically focusing on the T zone and chin area. It has helped reduce oil production, and throughout the day my T zone in particular is more manageable. Also, in the mornings when I wake up, I don’t look like a greasy mess.
I AM disappointed that unlike other BHAs I have used – small amounts of acne have persisted. i.e. other BHAs have completely cleared my acne during parts of my hormonal cycle. However, I will admit that my sebaceous filaments on my nose have improved with this product. I have tried this with benzyl peroxide, clay masks, sulfur, Differin- but this is so drying I couldn’t use these other products in addition to the toner.
Currently, there are parts of my skin which are dry and flaky, so at this rate I’ll probably have to cut back to daily use. This, I believe is likely from the high alcohol content.
I like that this product is affordable, easily accessible (at least for my geography), and seems to help keep the oil and acne in check.
I recommend this to very oily, oily and combo/oily skin but to use with some care.
Not recommended for sensitive skin or normal skin. This product in particular seems to require a lot of patience.
For myself, I would re purchase, but only during the summer again. I will continue to look at other products.
EDIT: I am now close to finishing my bottle. My skin was able to tolerate this product for use twice a day. Although it did help to keep my sebaceous filaments on my nose in check, it didn’t get rid of it completely. My skin wasn’t as clear as I wanted. It’s overall a very drying product. After this bottle, I will test out a stronger strength BHA (Cosrx) and add an AHA.

I HATE this toner!!
It smells awful and makes my eyes water. It hasn’t helped my skin, if anything, I’ve had mroe breakouts since using it! Such a waste.

This toner smells frightening – like nail polish.

I bought this a few weeks ago to help with a break-out I was having on my cheek and I’m so glad I did! I have been using this every night after cleansing and it has cleared my skin right up, without drying me out at all. Considering the fact that this is also inexpensive I’m really pleased.

Well firstly, yes, I can feel my pores getting tightened. However, when i use this product around my eyes it stings really badly. This product dries my skin.
Pro:
-tightens
-only needs a few drops to cover the whole face
-inexpensive
Cons:
– dries out my skin
– burns around the eyes
– strong scent

This toner is fantastic! Whenever I go back to using it, I have noticeable results within a few days. My pores look reduced and the overall tone of my skin is improved in way that I have never experienced with much more expensive products (Clinique Clarifying Lotion, I’m looking at you). The price point is excellent and you get a reasonable amount for your money. I use it in conjunction with Cetaphil moisturiser and my skin is feeling fantastic. In short, I love this product! However, I would not recommend it for very sensitive skin types as it is definitely one of the more harsher toners I have tried.

This toner is DA BOMB!!! I know that sounds funny! LOL But I’m telling you the truth! When I use it, I get a cool and tingly feel. It cleans deep into my pores. When it’s hot outside, I can use that on my face to cool off! Sometimes, I can just use that at night and it will remove ALL of my makeup! It’s a wonderful product. Also, it has helped remove my break-outs as well! I don’t know why I never tried this out before. Definite repurchase!

The Biore Triple Action Toner claims that it “cleanses, tightens and clears – unclog and tightens pores to reduce surface shine”. Its also dermologically tested, oil free, is hypo-allergenic and has salicylic acid and witch hazel.
I bought this product because I saw that it had won a few beauty awards and I previously used the Simple range toner and it sucked. So I didnt wanted to waste my money again buying a dud. I’ve been using this product non-stop for the past 2 months or so and I am exceptionally satisfied with this product! I use to have really large pores, particularly around my nose area and since I’ve started using this product I’ve noticed my pores have tightened significantly. Also, the oilyness around my T-Zone area has also been reduced.
When I first used this product I definately noticed a strong tingly feeling on my skin. Wasn’t pain or annoying, but I guess it was just the feeling of it tightening my skin and removing the oil.
The scent of the Biore toner is also really refreshing, it smells like cucumber + menthol?? Somthing like that…haha! But its a really nice smell on your skin, but if you not a fan of the smell it doesnt go away after its dried and moisturiser is applied.
The 250mL bottle costs under $10 which is great value for money because I’ve been using this product for 2months or so now and I’ve only used 1/5 of the entire bottle amount!
Pros
* Value for money – under $10
* Easily accessible – supermarkets/priceline
* Refreshing scent
* Visible results – tightened pores and reduced oil
Cons
* Large 250mL bottle will make travelling difficult
* Slightly larger opening at the lid makes it hard to control the amount you pour out

I use this product after washing off facial masks.
Pros: Big Bottle
Does reduce acne
Cons: The smell: like Listerine
Stings sometimes- depends on the mask used.
I like this product because I feel that it is a good toner for my combo skin. It does remove any remaining mask and gives me a fresh feeling.
However, I would NOT recommend it for sensitive skin types because of the stinging sensation. That, to me, is a drawback to repurchasing this toner.

Well I bought this toner for 11$ CAD I believe that is on sale. Not much is needed so it’s cheap for the bottle that would’ve probably lasted me 3 months if I hadn’t poured it down the drain… My boyfriend asked me for the first time ever in 2 years why I was breaking out so bad. Plus it burned my skin which can’t be good. Maybe my skins to sensitive these days because I remember using this a couple of years ago without such a harsh breakout resulting from it!
