I need a spritz of something pleasantly smelling in the morning on my face to fully wake up and this toner is a perfect solution. I’m really looking forward to my morning ritual with this product. 2-3 spritzes, then patting it in and applying a couple of drops of jojoba oil on a still slightly wet face and I can get on with my day.
I love the high quality glass bottle and a handy pump (I have the full sized bottle and the pump on this one is perfect, gives a really pleasant, well directed mist), I don’t bother with using a cotton bud with this.
As to some visible results, it was not the direct purpose of using this product. I basically wanted something to refresh my face and prime it for application of even more hydration e.g. a gel with hyaluronic acid. Yes, I’m not very happy about a citrus essential oil inclusion in the ingredients and leaving it on my face but I did not get any bad reaction to this, I even have an impression it helped me not to get any spots throughout of 4 months it took me to use up the bottle. It does not contain any alcohol which most of the classic toners seem to have in their inci list. I want to refill it now it is almost used up with some rose water from an eco shop (the spritzer pump on this is too good!) but I will repurchase this (unlike Hauschka’s toner that gave me a bad allergic reaction). I like also that I can recycle the glass bottle (not the pump though) if I wanted to.

I’m saying yes to repurchase, but I’m not sure I would. Like the other reviewer, I haven’t noticed any changes in my skin, good or bad, since I started using this. The one thing I do find it useful for is an extra shot of non-greasy moisture after washing my face and before applying moisturizer/sunscreen. It does seem to help keep my skin moist in the harsh winter.
The smell is a bit herbal – I don’t love it but it dissipates quickly.
Overall, there’s nothing bad about this but nothing amazing either.

The mister on the mini bottle is AGGRESSIVE. It is a blast to the face, literally. Instead of being assaulted from the spray, I will spritz some into the palm of my hand an then pat into my face before applying my serum. I’m not wowed by this product, it hasn’t changed anything about my skin and I have other toners I’d rather use instead. But, if you are looking for a green/clean option this isn’t bad, just a bit on the pricey side.

Update – January 2019: I’ve stopped using this as unfortunately the essential oil in this irritates my skin. Too bad they felt the need to include this as the other ingredients are great. I have downgraded my rating from 4 lippies to 3 because of this.

I’ve recently started using this but am proceeding cautiously, not using it every night as I noticed a tingling sensation and a strong scent when I first applied it. It could be some of the botanical extracts which can be sensitizing. However, the COQ-10 is very high up on the list as is aloe vera and other good ingredients and it is quite hydrating, so I’m going to keep using and hope the good outweighs the potential downsides. My skin is not overly sensitive but it’s been shown that irritation from fragrance can occur even if you don’t feel it and can be cumulative over time.

Indie Lee is a new brand to me and I’m enjoying trying the products this brand offers. The Indie Lee CoQ-10 Toner is one of the better toners that I’ve tried. I really love the fact that the Co Q 10 Toner doesn’t leave my skin feeling or looking dry, and does not contain denatured alcohol. So many toners contain drying alcohol as one of their first few ingredients and I find those to leave my skin looking and feeling dry. The Indie Lee CoQ-10 Toner isn’t perfect as it does contain bitter orange, but thankfully that is at the end of the ingredient list and the scent dissipates almost immediately. The Indie Lee CoQ-10 Toner is a great toner worth checking out. I love using this immediately after cleansing just to remove any additional makeup that is left over that the cleanser didn’t remove. After the toner I apply my serums and continue with my routine. My video review can be seen here: I

Love, love it. Used to never understand why people used toners. But this is the toner that I will forever be buying.

I was never a believer of toners until this! I always viewed them as just an excessive part of ones skincare routine until I bought this, Im now on my third bottle with a back up. I use this in the morning after cleansing and am amazed at how plumped and hydrated this leaves me skin every time. I can see a certain dullness to my skin on days where I’m in a rush and don’t use this. It smells lovely and the packaging is also beautiful. It adds life to my skin and combined with my morning facial oil (Kiehls daily reviving) I achieve glowing, plumped and healthy skin and therefore a perfect base for my makeup. Will continue to repurchase despite the price tag as this has converted me completely and has quickly become HG. I’m excited to try other Indie Lee products as this is as a brand I’m fairly new to.

I sort of wanted to like this product because it is so damn expensive for a toner.
And in the beginning I didn’t. So I stopped using it after a couple of weeks.
And then my go to toner finished, and I had to come back to this. So I was stuck with it for a month and i ended up just loving it. It leaves my face soft and bright and every cream I put after that works so well.
I tried to use it for the 7 skin korean routine but it didn’t work well
I would repurchase if I felt the need to splurge again on a toner

I really wanted to like this, but it left my face really sticky and tacky. I tried it in a variety of different ways, on its own, after acid, with a cotton pad, sprayed from a bottle. I always ended up with a sticky feeling which I hate. Since then I have bought the Josh Rosebrook which is much nicer, although expensive. I’ll just try a COQ10 serum I guess

This product is excellent and the packaging is divine. It is beautifully packaged in a frosted glass bottle.
The ingredients are simple but powerful. I was looking for a serum with COQ-10 without a lot of other fillers, fragrances, slip agents, etc. This product is phthalate and sulfate free. It’s not tested on animals either!
This product makes my skill look more radiant (more even in tone and less dull) and full (more hydrated).
For reference, I have combination skin that leans oily. I have been using this product for three months.
