I tried this toner along with several other samples of toners from Paula’s Choice Australia. I didn’t think I’d like this toner as much as the others, but it has made such a difference to my sensitive skin. The gel like consistency feels amazing on the skin, and I have experienced no redness or stinging that some of the other toners created after a week of use.
I’ve bought the full size of this product and I can tell it will last me quite some time! The cost of Paula’s Choice products can be a bit expensive, but I find it so worth it. There are many friend/discount codes out there to make the cost worthwhile. And the fact that they offer samples to test out before committing to a full size is fantastic, because I’m not wasting money on something that might not work for my skin.

This toner brought me around to toners after I spent many years thinking they are garbage. So I firstly like the consistency which is almost bordering on gel. It’s also slightly coloured unlike other clear watery toners, which probably reflects the beneficial ingredients. I apply to some muji peeling cotton pads and sit them on my face like a mini mask after I’ve used the cleanser. I’m not sure how much difference it makes to the cleansing process i.e. if it’s taking more makeup off because I don’t use much makeup, but I certainly feel like it’s really calming and hydrating.
I don’t really like the color scheme of the bottle though.

I needed moisture under my sunscreen during the day, so I decided to use this toner every morning after cleansing. I used my hands to apply this toner on my face. It’s very light and I could see some ‘foaming’ texture when I mix it in my hands, similar to a cleanser texture, which is weird. It’s like applying a cleanser as a toner. I wouldn’t mind if the toner was really good, but this product was a total let down for me.
I think it did helped with the inflammation and/or the irritation from acne. It calmed my skin just a little bit. However, it didn’t reduce redness or inflammation even after a few uses. I didn’t notice a huge improvement. This toner kind of disappointed me and it’s not a necessity in my routine.
Also, I didn’t like the texture of this toner, it felt heavy on my skin and it didn’t moisturize that much at the same time. It doesn’t absorb well into the skin, I could feel an extra layer of moisture over my face that didn’t do anything to help it… which is something I don’t like. It felt tacky on my skin and I had a few clogged pores after using this toner.

This will feel good to oily skin because it feels like water. Although, it’s hard to get on even as much of it soaks in sponge and leaks from your cusped hands when you splash it on face.
There are a ton of antioxidants! is green tea, phytic acid , beta glucan and panthenol as an additional vit.

This goes on like water and slightly stung my skin after cleansing. I don’t like it as well as the N/D version and may exchange it again. It says it is soothing but again I found it stung. It did get the last of my makeup off. So I guess it has a purpose. 4 oz. Kind of pricey for what feels like water.
