Far far far too fragrant for my liking! For this amount of money as someone said below it should be perfect. This is just a basic tinted moisturiser with SPF 30+ nothing more. It contains the usual roster of LA MER/ESTEE LAUDER cocktail ingredients along with the “Miracle Broth”. It smells, feels and looks quite similar to Bobbi Brown’s Extra Tinted Moisturising Balm.
I purchased one for myself and my mother, was not entirely happy with it’s performance, definitely not for those with combination to oily skin, this is very much a product for those with dry to normal skin who want an all in one sunscreen and tinted moisturiser for light even coverage.

Reading previous reviews – are we using the same stuff?
My skin is very problematic – mainly due to the oiliness, clogging and occasional breakouts. I have tested zillions of foundations and have issues with every one of them. Eye allergies, clogging, oiliness, etc. In additon to that, my skin is more matur that young, so I have keep it in mind when picking beauty products.
Finally I sticked with Hauschka foundation and blotting papers, but still this was far away from being perfect (occasional zits, oiliness, oiliness, oiliness).
I came across information that La Mer has foundation and tint and decided to give it a try.
I was considering between this one and soft fluid, but finally I picked the tint. and I am glad I did, despite the bad reviews here.
It healed my skin. Oiliness – cut down, no more zits, pores – much smaller, redness – toned down. WOW! I was sure taht this la mer hype is just bullsh*t made up to sell. Nope. It works. This is the one and only thing I have changed in my routine.
I am convinced and plannning to buy cleansing gel and the creme.
You should see my skinn – it is glowing.
I got the situation with minor clogging more or less two days of use, but it stopped and healed and never came back 😉
I got the Fair colour – my skin is fair, but this fair is definitely lighter that my regular foundations (I used Hausched in 02 and Meow Frisky Siamese and Mau)

I don’t like this stuff. I have pores and if i use something thick my skin breaks out. And this product is perfect for clugging pores. Also İt doesn’t look homogen on my face and looks worse in the end of the day. And i told all about my face to the seller and i wanted to buy powder. She insisted to buy this purchase with the others ( oil absorbing tonic , oil absorbing lotion, the concantrate gel) And i hate them all!! My face broke out and my dermatologist said your face gets worse. What happened in just 1 month?? And only difference was i start to use la mer products. And these are very expensive.so I didn’t stop using for 2-3 months maybe if it’s only first reaction but my skin doesn’t look better . I don’t hesitate to spend money for my skin. But this time it is a disaster.

Super Light coverage but enough to make good looking skin. Try this if you want makeup no makeup look 😉

I’m going to go ahead and let it out that I really disliked the first La Mer Tinted Moisturiser, it didn’t have any coverage as I was a shiny mess in two hours.
This one is tricky, applied with my fingers or a beauty blender it gives me an amazing finish but my skin doesn’t like it at the end of the day. Much like the new La Mer fondation I apply it with Marc Jacobs The Face III brush in stippling motions and not only does it give me a really nice and natural finish my skin looks better at the end of the day.
I think that this is something that people with dry or normal/dry skin can’t wear this on its own because it might feel a wee drying on the skin. While it does nothing for me to wear this with the La Mer Gel or Concentrate because the fragrance really irritates my skin, I think people with drier skin or patches should moisturise this very well before applying.
The only reason that I don’t give it a five lippie rating is because it’s one of those “It’ll get worse before it gets better” products meaning that the first times I use this after a long time without wearing it my skin will get irritated, I’ll get a pimple or two but in three or four days everything goes back to normal and it’s better than before and I realize that for some in case of wearing it to an event or something similar it might be a bit of risk to take. Very pricey for what it is, but a very good products for those of us with oily skin. I wear this in Light, I wear #2 on the Armani Luminous Silk Compact and am Finland/Siberia on NARS.

I find this product way too thick as a tinted moisturizer. I don’t really like that the finish is somewhat shiny. I would prefer a more natural dewy finish on the skin.
The previous SPF 18 Tint was perfect though!’

This multiplies and magnifies every single pore on my face! Try before you buy.

This is a terrible product, its drying, emphasises every pore and line, the color is not pigmented enough and makes me look dull. I used the second lightest shade and it made me look brown-green, its hard to spread too so I don’t see why this is called a tinted moisturizer, i’m not even dry and this imparted so little moisture, honestly, I don’t see the point. This is like a $2 drugstore product. Pls try before you buy.

I used to love La Mer’s tinted moisturizer and then it got discontinued. Then one day, they relaunched their tinted moisturizer as the Reparative Skin Tint. I immediately purchased it and hoping to give me the same result like their old tinted moisturizer. I couldn’t be more wrong! I really dislike this new formula. It’s heavier than the older formula and by noon, I can actually see it on my face like a powder that’s sitting on top of my face. It accentuates any dry patches I have while the old formula is very light and keeps my skin hydrated. So disappointed with this new formula.

I too was a devoted fan of the old formula and terribly disappointed when it was discontinued. I am even more disappointed that it has such a poor replacement. Little to no coverage and a greasy formula. Like another reviewer, I used Light and Medium in the old formula, and mixed them according to season. I therefore thought Light-Medium in the new formula would be a match. Nope. It’s an orangier version of the old Medium.
This is the first La Mer product that I have ever returned. I hope La Mer listens to it’s customers and reformulates this product. Until then, I’ll stick with Chanel’s CC Cream, which is everything La Mer’s old TM was, but with better, more natural coverage.
