I went to shiseido counter wanting to buy a compact foundation to replace my Chanel cushion, but ended up getting this.
This product is marketed as a tinted moisturiser (a la Laura Mercier’s signature item) but I used it as a makeup primer. They come in various shades, I got Medium shade 3 as Medium dark shade 4 was too pinkish on my skin. I used this after my skincare routine, then top it up with Shiseido syncro skin lasting liquid foundation (in shade Neutral 3). Honestly I didn’t expect much from this in terms of lasting power but holy moly, my makeup lasted for more than 10 hours with no need for any touch ups! By fifth hour there was some shine and I patted on some loose powder (without blotting) and it just lasted so well! My job dehydrates my skin badly, being in an air-conditioned space, so this was indeed a pleasant surprise.
Coverage wise: Not much correction in redness or veins, almost little to no coverage, just a brightened and ‘skin looks better’ kind of effect.
