First of all, the packaging for this product is really nice – the sales woman explained to me that Elizabeth Arden are trying to appeal to a younger consumer (worked for me). And when testing the product instore I was really impressed, the colour matched, it wasn’t thick and it left a tiny bit of tackiness to my skin so it worked well as a primer for other light products.
Unfortunately, after a couple of months of on and off use the product turned slightly orange (I had purchased fair). After trying to make the product work by mixing it with different products and only using it when I had fake tan on, it got to the point where I had to throw out the half used tube.
When I squeezed the product out of the tube it had become a bright orange colour, was so oily and it looked like the product and oil had separated – unusable in my opinion. I had also purchased a foundation from the same line as this moisturizer and the same thing happened.

I love Elizabeth Arden products but this is one of the worst I have tried. I was excited to have it on for everyday use but totally disappointed with it. First of all the smell is foul (I don’t know how it supposed to smell or its just my tube, or its old or I don’t know) and it made my face blotchy and break outs galore. I never have breakouts, an occasional pimple that dries out with the right product but this make my face full with little red dots…..and it looks patchy on my dry skin.
very disappointed :(. I would return it if it wasn’t bought online.

This is an extremely sheer tinted moisturizer. If you have a lot of blemishes or an uneven skin tone, stay away from this product.
It blends nicely and it looks best when applied with fingers or a flat top brush.
I will not be repurchasing this because it is neither moisturizing or provides good coverage.
If you have pretty clear skin with minor problems, this is good for you.

I’m not an expert when it comed to tinted moisturizers since I’ve tried only a few but that’s only because I’ve loved Sheer Lights for the past 3 years so I haven’t had any need. This tinted moisturizer is the best thing ever! It leaves my sking glowing and covers the minor imperfections. In a nutshell it gives me a perfect skin and amazing results!

Omgoodness I <3333 this product. I no longer need foundation just this and concealer. I work at shoppers drugmart and have been looking forever for a non greasy tinted moisturizer. This is by far the best one I have found.

Two O’s come to mind: Oxidizes and therefore: Orange.
Not for cool-toned gals. I have the Medium 03 and I look good with this for about 30 mins. Then I look ridiculous.
ETA: I was NW20-25 when I used this, truly cool-toned. Now I’m not tanning anymore I’m NW15-20 and I have thrown this out.

just bought it today from a friend for a few bucks….I really liked the reviews, so I thought to give it a try, though I never really liked tinted moisturizers due to their lack od pigment and sheerness…I’m a heavy -foundation person myself…
The tube (1.6oz) is beautiful, and consistency of the cream is not as liquid as other creams that I’ve tried…so it is basically very sheer, hydrating cream with almost invisible sparkles in it..
I’ve got this in Bronze2, which is really bronze….but when I put it to my semi-pale face, it looked really good…like sunkissed skin…
The cream is quite orangey, but very sheer and very soft, so there are no streaks on your skin, and the final result looks pretty natural..
It smells like chemicals, cause it contains Oxybenzone, but overall, it doesn’t smell that bad….
it lasts on my face for about 3 hours now and still looks ok..
The formula is non greasy, very gentle to my skin, and what I like the most- it is durable and does’t come off within 2 hours like other stuff I put on my face…
this is a very good product especially for the summer, lightens your face up giving you healthy, sheer glow and a hint of colour..
like it, but the shade is definitely too dark for me…I’d like to try lighter versions but,ok, since I wanted to give it a go and gave a couple of bucks for it, I’m happy!

I absolutely love this tinted moisturizer! I bought it in the medium shade and my purpose for using it is because I use self tanner for my body and I want to match my face to the same color as my body. So what I do is use Jergens self tanner for face (once a week in the evening) and I wear the EA tinted moisturizer every day and the colour is a PERFECT match to my body this way. On weekends I wear it alone and on weekdays I wear it with foundation over top and my foundation sets really well on it – perfectly smooth with no dry spots whatsoever. One thing I’ve noticed though is that changes in my skincare routine change the look of it – especially with night creams and serums. If I use night cream the night before, even though I wash it off in the morning, my face has a bit of a greasy look to it when I put this on and especially towards the end of the day. No one else seems to notice but I notice and don’t like it. So I’ve had to use my nightcream sparingly and not on all areas of my face. Also, one other problem I encountered when I first started using this was I had one sensitive spot on my face that burned a bit when I put this on and then ended up peeling, so I put some of my regular moisturizer underneath it in that spot to create a barrier and it worked. After I started using a moisturizing cream at night it was longer sensitive. I think my skin was just really dry at that time because it was the start of winter. Something I really love about this is the illuminating effect it has, it’s very subtle and natural looking. Another great thing about it is it doesn’t settle into lines and moisturizes really well. If I ever use a regular non tinted moisturizer now, even with my foundation, I absolutely hate my face and it seems that there is so much redness around my nose which shows up under my foundation. This makes the redness disappear, and makes my face look flawless and even toned. I am addicted to tinted moisturizer!!!

I have normal/oily skin and like others have said this can give you a VERY “dewy” look…I did find that using a setting powder helped with that but it did mean more steps then I wanted. It has great coverage for a TM but the smell is weird and it makes my eyes water like mad every time I apply it. If you’re not sensitive to those things I think you’d love it but it’s going to be hard to try and finish it…although I may try it on my legs now.
ETA: I tried to keep using this but honestly the irritation to my eyes kept getting worse and worse.

I have dry and sensitive skin that burns easily so I need to apply something with SPF every day. I prefer to wear a light application of foundation, but I can never find anything that applies well to my skin (it gets flaky easily). I tried this hoping to replace my foundation and it did- I love it!
You don’t need much to completely cover your face, it blends easily, and protects your skin. It doesn’t develop that flaky look . If you get oily during the day I imagine a light dusting with a setting powder would take care of that.
I was quite surprised by how well it covered while still maintaining a sheer look. If I have any blemishes, I just apply a bit of concealer then I’m ready to go. I only gave it a 4/5 because I could have done without the specks of glitter and the lightest shade was slightly too dark for me.
