Like quite a few other reviewers, I must say that it’s FAR too dark to be labelled “fair to light” – it’s medium at least, with yellow undertones. Makes me look like I’ve over applied self-tan… The formula seems decent although the finish is very shiny so you need powder or something to matify it a bit, unless you like the shiny look. I bought it because of it containing salicylic acid but I can’t really say if it works as I can’t wear it…

I bought this because I don’t like to wear face makeup, but thought it would be nice to have a light tinted moisturizer that also helps with pimples for those days when I want to look a little more made up. For one, it’s not light at all (but at least it isn’t watery), and by the end of the day my skin is much oilier than it would be normally, so not reeeally helping with the prevention of acne.
For two, I’m fair-skinned with yellow undertones, so I purchased the Fair to Light version… which is waaay too dark! It’s fine in the summer because it blends well with my tan, but I could not wear this in any other season, so I won’t be repurchasing it. The cap is also kind of annoying to twist back on, but I do like the squeeze-bottle packaging. Overall I’d say if you have fair skin, do not purchase this since you won’t be able to use it year-round (without looking like an orange).

“Fair to light”?? No. The colour I got was much too dark for someone with skin like mine. It would suit medium skin I think. So I never got to wear it, but the formula seems decent, I wouldn’t know if it controls acne.

I freaking love this stuff! I use this on days when I’m just running errands. I rub this in (no need for makeup brushes every day of my life) and dust some mineral powder on top.
Looks great. Totally natural and really clears up the skin!
If you’re looking for heavy coverage, this is not it.
But I’m not looking for heavy coverage to run to the bank and go food shopping!!!

I like this tinted moisturizer because it provides coverage and also contains Salicylic Acid to fight breakouts. I use the fair to light shade and so far it has cleared up breakouts. I like that my skin tone looks more even, I notice less redness and irritation since using.

I enjoy BB type foundations because they are convenient, easy to apply
and look natural.
In warm weather I tend to be oily, and get clogged pores, thus this looked like a good
alternative for my summer routine. WRONG!
This made my skin flare up into bright red reaction immediately after applying.
Total disaster! I don’t know if it’s the fragrance or the formula, but this is disaster!

Unfortunately I didn’t get to give this much of a go because it was way too dark for me. I am very pale and bought the shade fair to light, this shade should be called medium! There is a swatch of the color right on the box and it goes on exactly that color. Brown. It has the exact same feel and smell as their other old pink grapefruit moisturizer. I also had a few spots and this did nothing at all to cover them. It might just be better for evening out skin tone. This always happens to me, I should know better by now.
