I got aqua gel 50 which was in a yellowish gel(there was another one which was gray and a bb-cream type). I tried it in duty free before and liked the appearance on my face with the overdewy appearance, the texture which was thin and moisturizing, non-sticky. Unfortunately, it is full of parabens and alcohols. There is literally no skin-beneficial ingredient aside aqua… and it is proced with 50+eur… what a joke. For such price I’d expect a sunscreen that would be free of any skin-irritants and cancerous ingredients and has some antioxidants. I could find such a product in Asian market for under 15€. Respect Ethyl-alkylate Gel Cope & products similar in color. My 6yr old could not contain 99.9% Ethyl-alkylate & had way more. These products are formulated to treat skin needs. Not only have their name labeling placed on them, but I am putting forward their terms. I pay special attention to ethylalkylate gel which is color free (brown), so perfect to be used with HGH; as a sunscreen like oily coral oil and acid eye skin.
My review opinion is something to test the full question.

The body sites on these two formulations are based on the formula: Vitamin C 2,4-carboxylic acid (62), Concentrated Porous Dimethyl fumarate (70), and anti-histamines. The majority of it is due to this. The acids don’t melt during application.
1. Vitamin C 2
Its a yellowish mineral with a center with cloveolate crystals. Yellowish color. It has 8 impurities in it which make it suitable for sulfates.
There is a small dihydroxysteroid added which is responsible for the weak sunscreen effect. I would have wanted to take this one on by spraying other party. For example of thick green peach below, but to give him more protection, what you just wrote above would be sufficient.
2. Porous Dimethyl fumarate
Because of the long time 3 year anniversary in and a sharp rain in winter, the skin is slightly broken down where porous sodium hydroxide hydroxide came from. Also the skin is dehydrated which causes the plastic linings in the panels. I am using this as the florets absorb the all! Also, it absorbs easily. My skin doesn’t seem to react to the small carbon atoms found on it. The pores are beautifully hydrated as expected.
This is a small rectangular square UV exposure gel. After 3 years it absorbs yellow bluish buffin type to oval, pure gold red area. Then every 3 years after that it absorbs lavender then bluish white area. Again it absorbs rich red glow. Since the tint is the same, there is no bad. The only difference is this out of 3 times each time the normal formulation was applied, it absorbed the low intensity. It no longer requires a

I have dry Asian skin with medium skin tone around NC35-37. I love this Lancome GN Shield SPF50 and have been using it for almost 10 years before that I used Shiseido Anessa / Clinique City Block / Neutrogena ultra sheer. Lancome is my favorite as texture is not too dry, absorb very well and no perfume. It is easy to clean with warm shower no need make up removal.
I don’t mind Anessa but it is more suitable for someone require waterproof / sweat-proof and you have to use makeup removal.
With Lancome I never have break out or allergic even slept overnight with it (skip shower in Winter). It is mixture between physical and chemical sunscreen so I guess it does the job without too greasy like others and gentle to my skin.
Only drawback it is pricey and they don’t stock in shopping malls in Australia. So I always grab it from the duty free (by myself or ask friends) normally duo pack available with much cheaper price. Also sometime they have special discount. Lately they’ve changed to triple pack which even better. End up I paid around $50 each so it is not too bad.

I was at my friend’s house for couple of days and she had this product, I used it for two days in a row. I liked its texture, scent, and I believe it did a good job at protecting my skin from the sun. I was thinking about buying one for myself as I’m currently searching for a new suncreen, then I checked its ingredients and saw some dealbreakers.
Let me first say I don’t completely avoid alcohol in skin care products. Every now and then I try something with alcohol in its ingredients but I generally like the product so much, I just ignore the alcohol. This sunscreen does not have one but TWO different alcohol types. Alcohol Denat and Benzyl Alcohol. Two types of alcohol is too many alcohol for me. At least when there is just one I wishfully think, “Maybe it’s only a tiny amount.” But two tiny amounts are not tiny enough. Alcohol sometimes does not show its bad effects on the skin in a short time but in the longrun it’s not good for the skin. Paraben is another ingredient I try to avoid. This sunscreen also has two parabens; ethylparaben and methylparaben. Again two are too much.
Four ingredients I want to avoid in one single product is an absolute dealbreaker. In the end, this is really sunscreen and I’m just not going to apply two alcohol types and two different kinds of parabens when there are sunscreens that do an equally well job for sun protection but does not have that much alcohol + parabens. If I’m going to take the risk of those ingredients the result should be something much better like helping my pores, or having some anti-aging ingredients like retinol. Just for sunscreen it’s not worth it.

This review is for Lancome UV Expert Neuroshield high potency active protection 12H UV- Pollution UVB UVA SPF 50 PA+++, the one currently pictured.
The product is a white milky fluid with a light baby powder scent. To me, it has a slight sticky feel to it. It spreads easily on the face & absorbs quickly, moisturizes my dry/dehydrated skin, but it does leave a slight shine & somewhat oily look & feel to my face, For that reason, I’ve avoided using this underneath makeup.
The small, plastic, squeeze tube is light & handy for traveling or toting in your purse. I prefer a flip cap than the twist off one, but this twist off is better quality than most because on the inside/underside of the cap, it has a narrow pin/stopper. I’ve used other squeeze tubes where the product just gushes out right when I unscrew the cap. I think this pin helps with keeping the product from doing that. genius.
This $50/30ml bottle is deceiving – it’s a never-ending little bottle of sunscreen, even with generous application. I had picked this up an extremely long time ago (I’m talking multiple years) at Duty Free Hong Kong and for some reason stopped using it. I think I was too young and lazy to care for my skin. On occasion, I would use Neutrogena’s Age Shield Face Sunblock (SPF 90+), mainly when I know I’ll be out in the sun all day. Now I’m obsessed with preventative skincare and re-introduced sunscreen to my daily regimen.
This is definitely a step up from your average Neutrogena face sunblock. It doesn’t have that thickness that Neutro has where you really have to work hard to spread the product onto your skin and massage it a few times until the white disappears. It’s much lighter and works right into your skin. It’s hard to say if how much this product helped with “preventing skin hyperpigmentation and premature aging,” or whether a $50 bottle is better than a $10. Since I’ve only tried these two types of facial sunscreen, I won’t be repurchasing until I’ve tried a wider range.

When I first found this sunscreen I could not believe my luck. I had stumbled across an Avo-free Mexoryl/Tinosorb S sunscreen in London- Hallelujah! Even the matte glow finish was awesome. Then came the bad: no expiry date- anywhere! Not on the box, the tube- nada, nothing! Not even a manufacture date. We know how important sunscreen is and as I have written on a previous Lancome review, I am not happy to risk using an inactive spf that could have been perishing on a shelf for the last two years. It’s not worth it. Shame, as this would have been HG. As a result this is my HG: Skinceuticals Ultra Facial Defence Spf 50 which contains identical SS ingredients (Mexoryl/Tinosorb without the Avobenzone or Octocrylene) and has a printed expiry date. HTH!

I’ve been using Shiseido sunscreen line for a long time until recently I bought this sunscreen at duty free during my trip to Asia. It seems to be very popular so I decided to give it a try. I wasn’t hesitant to purchase because majority of my skincare products are from Lancome anyways.
This product was very weird to be as I was used to using a runny, lotion like Shiseido Ultimate Sun Protection Lotion. But as I got used to this, I can see why it’s very popular in Asia.
Asians seriously HATE white casts that sunscreens often leave upon application. That’s why Shiseido Anessa sunscreens are so popular in Japan, China, Korea etc.
Lancome UV Expert does leave a slight white cast but it’s very minimal. Also the consistently is light and easy to apply on your face. But this sunscreen seems to SET. It’s a weird word. Foundations set. But this sunscreen sets too in a similar way. After 1-2 minutes upon application, it seems to take on a non-budging, non-greasy but very tacky texture. It is NOT STICKY.
And if you’re applying a foundation on top, it applies and acts like a base (at least for me). I am not a fan of silicone based primers because they are too slippery for my preference. I actually like this tacky texture which helps my foundation stay put on my face for a long time. I personally find that this sunscreen acts like a base for foundation.
SPF 50 is a great protection and I do not mind the fragrance at all. It doesn’t linger around for too long. Walk it off.
So all in all, I would repurchase this sunscreen. I actually use this and Shiseido sunscreen depending on my daily preference and needs. Good Good Good. Try it at a counter!

I am writing a review for Lancome UV Expert GN-Shield SPF 50 PA+++ (Translucent white)
I am a loyal customer of this marvelous UV protection for about 4 years now and after I had switched to another well-received brand of sunblock which is light and non-greasy a week ago, I decided to stick with Lancome’s UV protection SPF 50 and probably hold on to it forever in the hope that they will continue to reinvent a greater product or at least until I know of a strong competitor.
What I like about this product is its lightweight texture, moisturizing ingredients, the power to grant a fairer and younger complexion, and the prevention of further pigmentations. It brightens up my complexion, giving radiance which enhances my features in photographs. Hence, it’s more than just a simple sunblock. I like the fact that it is not too light or watery unlike other sunblocks that I’ve tried such that I am convinced that the protection has not evaporated away and fulfilling its 12 hour protection claim. I became even more convinced when I wore it to the beach for about 3 hours and I did not get sunburnt which is good for a fair skin lover like me and I am determined to maintain it.
I agree that as hours pass, my complexion gets more dewy looking (partly due to my combination skin), but with some powder on (loose powder or foundation) not neglecting the makeup base, my complexion stays matte all day.
I will highly recommend Lancome’s UV protection SPF50 for those who love to be fair, protect against UVA & UVB and seeking to prevent pigmentations. I will recommend that you use together with Lancome’s exceptional whitening skincare for radiance and crystal clear skin. I hope this product review is useful 🙂

This review is for Lancome UV Expert GN Shield SPF50 PA+++ (the normal version).
This product is perfect. The texture is light, not greasy and doesn’t have a white cast at all, it looks like a classic moisturizer. The protection is very good plus there is a pollution protection for 12 hours. I would have preferred a pump but that’s fine. The only downside is the price, i paid 60$ on internet because this product is not available in France but i definitely will repurchase.

This review is for Lancome UV Expert GN Shield SPF50 PA+++ (not the tinted version or the BB cream, which I reviewed separately).
Great product! I tried its predecessors before (UV Expert SPF50) about 7-8 years ago and found the older formulations to be too greasy and so I had been using the lighter, more fluid Japanese sunscreens (Biore, Sunplay) as and when I remember.
Glad to have given this a try again because now it is my HG. Comes out creamy but spreads and absorbs into my combi-oily skin really well and easily. I leave it to dry and absorb for about 2-3 minutes before patting on my day’s powder or foundation, if I am wearing makeup. I have become so religious about wearing this sunblock, I put it on while at home too in my sunny country.
It seems to work well as a makeup base too as I find my makeup lasting longer when I wear this. And it definitely does not oil me up as quickly as other sunscreen bases do. I also tried Clarins UV HP Day and whilst the texture of that is more fluid, it is greasy on me and tends to come off from my skin.
The most AMAZING thing is that I had some dark spots along my jawline and within 8 months of usage, the dark spots have completely disappeared. And as the only consistent thing in my routine had been the sunscreen, I am attributing it to its excellent protection that didn’t allow further sun ray attack to worsen the spots.
No whitish cast in photos, no sunscreen smell, just a pleasant everyday sunblock that does its job especially in my hot humid country. I have become religious about putting this one because it is such a pleasure and it works!
Just taking a lippie off because its pricey for sure, so I buy mine in the travel duo (50ml each bottle) from the departure lounge at the airport where it is half the price it is downtown.
Will repurchase and continue to use.

How come I feel burning? on both my face and hands.
especially when I was sweating. It makes my skin so dry. the color is good. I guess it better for oilly skin type.
I don’t know if I should continue to use it on my face.
btw, my is UV Expert, GN-shield, BB Base, SPF 50 PA++++
