Very liquid-y, fluid sunscreen. I lIked the way it felt and how lightweight it was. It did not break me out or clog my pores and had a light floral scent.
However, it did add a slight white/purple cast to my skin upon application which would subside over about 10 minutes time.
I currently have this in my bag to “re-apply” before I go outside and I like it, tbh I feel like it adds coverage in a way and makes my skin look more even???? When I do re-apply I look ghostly and ashy for about 10 minutes and I do patting motions til it adjust and I’m fine.

Picked this up as my current every day SPF was pilling under makeup. I have extremely sensitive skin particularly when it comes to sunscreen (most cause blistering around my eyes), so the version I grabbed of this was for sensitive skin and children. First off, a little pricey, but for the strength and amount you get, it’s not crazy. If it were a cream instead of a lotion I might complain, but a little goes a long way. There’s for sure a bit of a white cast, but nothing too bad, however, I am quite pale. On darker skin tones this could pose an issue. I THINK (although again, so pale I can’t be sure) that just going back in and giving a good rub to the spots that are a bit too white would do the trick. I take a second glace after I let it set to make sure it’s all smoothed in.
This product so far hasn’t given me any reactions and has in no way affected my makeup application. It’s non-greasy and non-drying. Honestly, it’s a great product so far and I will for sure be repurchasing once I’m done my current bottle. My only real qualm with it is that the bottle can make a mess what with the product being so liquidy, but for an otherwise quality SPF, that’s just a nitpick.

One of my favorite sunscreens (along with Avene SPF 50). I have normal/combo skin.
What I like:
– broad spectrum sun protection,
– convenient packaging,
– non-streaky formula,
– you get a lot of product in the bottle (if you want to use it on your face only; I use separate product on my body: Avene SPF 30 oil),
– it’s long lasting,
– it doesn’t contain denaturated alcohol, an ingredient that makes me break out like crazy.
There are very few sunscreens that don’t break me out and this is one of them.
It does leave white cast but I don’t mind it at all. I have fair skin plus my face is about shade darker than my neck so it actually evens out this difference.
It mattifies my face so I often use hydrating base makeup after I apply this sunscreen.
Since it’s long lasting it may sting your eyes when you remove it (along with your makeup) in the evening.
Overall, I’d definitely repurchase it.

I’ve been using this sunscreen all summer. It feels pretty luxurious texture-wise, and I don’t like friends using it because I want it all to myself.
I have always been prone to burning and now that I’m on Accutane, I’m even more paranoid. Actually, I’ve been using this stuff through winter. I’m a big supporter of wearing sunscreen year round if I remember to actually throw it on in the morning. Actually, I find that the nicer something feels to use, the more I remember to use it, so this is why I sprang for a high-end sunscreen.
A thing to note about this stuff is that it does indeed have a whitening quality on the skin: I actually like this effect because my face gets a bit red with application so it works to even out my skin tone, which is a neat feature. I’m very pale to begin with and the whiteness doesn’t look unnatural, but it is noticeable when you first apply the sunscreen. It’s smooth under makeup.
I haven’t burned yet, so thanks Shiseido. 🙂

I tried Neutrogenia which was not good for my skin and I got burned. ( I have to wear a 30 – 60) I also prefer a light spray. zscheido was great. light and of course a spray can get into all places without help. There is no real scent to it. I got pink which turned tan. No burning, no impediment to makeup and it lasts a while. so was in Hawaii, in the ocean, with all the sunshine in the world bouncing off the water.

For an expensive sunscreen from a well known brand I expect it to be much better than this. This sunscreen is super hard to take off that the sale representative said you have to buy their Shiseido oil base make up remover to specifically take this sunscreen off. No thank you! In addition, it leaves TERRIBLE WHITE CAST!!, the most I have ever seen out of all the sunscreens I have used. You know how you are supposed to reapply sunscreen after a few hours? The white cast from this sunscreen never fades, it lasts on your face all day, so if you want to apply a second layer after a few hours, go ahead, you will look like a ghost. lol. The only thing I like about this sunscreen is that when applied on your face, it gives you a smooth, matte finish unlike the typical oily, shiny finish that all the other sunscreens give you. I never experienced a matte finish before with other sunscreens. That only doesn’t make up for the horrible white cast and the annoying hard-to-take-off water resistance. So Good Bye!!

Okay, so my skin is sensitive, and I’ve tried/used a varying array of
sunscreen products. I must say this sunscreen is by far is my favorite. I’ve used it consistently on an almost daily basis for almost 2 years.
I am a freckled individual, so I could tell right away if the product was working: I wasn’t blessed with additional freckles from spending time out in the sun. Plus no sun burns.
The few times I do wear make-up, both sheer and full-face, I didn’t notice any changes in the final product even with having this sunscreen underneath.
The smell (not unpleasant) and texture was a bit for me to get used to, as I usually do not wear any other products/makeup. I have to make sure i blend it in well otherwise it can stay a bit white on my skin.
It’s a bit of a task to get off, and it takes separate cleansers to remove it all properly (I currently use Bioderma Sensibio H2O + CeraVe Foaming Facial Cleanser or Spectro Jel). I also am not fond of the packaging. I wish the nozzle were better designed as the product can cake up around it and the lid, and sometimes I get drizzle if I’m not careful pouring out some. Even better, a pump (I am fond of pumps). The size for the price is also a negative for me.

I loved the bottle, the liquid texture, the scent and the protection afforded by this product. It also acted as a nice primer under makeup. However, this stuff is no joke and does not come off without a proper cleansing (I had to use cold cream). Thus, this is not for those of us who occasionally fall asleep without washing our faces or use makeup wipes at night because we are lazy.

I like this sunscreen. Once absorbed, I don’t find it greasy. Seems to last all day. The formula is a bit runny but that doesn’t bother me.

I actually really like this sunscreen, I recently bought it and have had zero complaints. Yes it has a very runny texture but I’ve made it work. I was told it was both a physical and chemical sunscreen but leaning more towards physical. The scent I actually find quite nice and it completely sinks into the skin. I don’t feel this sunscreen at all after I’ve applied it and get no greasy feeling on my skin. I would definitely repurchase this if I ran out.
