This is my HG sunscreen. Ive used Thinksport also. The only difference is the scent; Thinkbaby is fruitier while Thinksport is citrusy. 20% zinc (non nano) is the primary sun protection ingredient. Aloe juice is high on the list which makes perfect sense to soothe skin.
This leaves a noticeable whitish cast which i prefer because i can see the protection. It brightens my skin and tones down the sallowness, which looks actually nice. It’s very durable and waterproof (up to 80 mins) and does not wipe off easily. I do not have problems washing it off in the shower nor do i double cleanse to get it off.
Cheap – off amazon around $12-19 for 6 oz. It’s a big bottle.
I use three pea sized drops for my face and neck. One for forehead and upper cheeks/under eye area, one for the lower face and one for neck. Here is a video explaining how much to use: She calculates 60% of 1/4 teaspoon to get the recommended coverage.
It goes on ghastly white, but fades after a few mins. Dries down with a slightly glossy finish. Some may not like how it stays a little tacky, but i like a dewy finish. I have dry sensitive skin. If you are oily, this may not be the one for you.
I am on retinoids and live in a sunny hot area, so sun screen is high on my list of priorities. I am nearly 49 years old and have no wrinkles but a few sun damage spots. In the past i was using invisible Japanese/Korean sunscreens and not using enough or re-applying when i started retinoids, which caused this damage. Some spots have been there for decade or more, so prevention is important so i can work on getting these diminished.
Although not the most cosmetically elegant physical sunscreen (i consider Drunk Elephant Sheer Umbre spf 30 highly elegant, but it is not water resistant or proof at all, although it leaves no white cast at all and it dries down completely. What I didn’t like about this is how it sweats off in the summer time. As soon as i go outside it breaks down quickly. Thinksport/baby is durable and sweating is no big deal just as long as you dont wipe it off.
This product is giving me peace of mind knowing i will not get more sun damages or spots and protecting my delicate skin with a highly rated EWG (its 1) with confidence. I can see the slight haze and it seems to fill in my pores and gives me a glass skin appearance. While it does feel emollient and does not dry down 100%, a dewy finish is appropriate for my older dry skin that does not accentuate wrinkles. It actually smooths and brightens my skin.
I have repurchased a few times already.

The good thing was that this product didn’t bring me out in blisters and hives like most other sunscreens I have tried. The bad thing was that it didn’t give me any sun protection! I wasn’t out for that long and I got burnt! And I was smothered in the stuff!!!
Ugh, back to the drawing board for me.

If I hadn’t finally realized after multiple attempts at all natural sunscreen that I am clearly allergic to Zinc, then this product would have gotten five lippies!! It smells amazing like papaya, it goes on clear and only starts to show a bit of a white sheen after multiple applications in a day. Its reasonably priced for an all natural sunscreen, and it rates 1 on the EWG skin deep website, as well as a low rating on the Think Dirty app. I would recommend this product to anyone interested in going all natural and has sensitive skin, its not oily and doesn’t cause angry red bumps or acne to appear on your skin. I just unfortunately have a reaction to zinc where all of my blood vessels raise to the surface (basically looks like I have red spider veins all over) whenever zinc is applied to my skin 🙁
