I was looking for a sunscreen to use around my eyes since the one I use for my face is a chemical one that stings my eyes. I tried some mineral sunscreens since they do not sting the eyes, however they were drying my skin out. I have never liked mineral sunscreen because of that side effect for my skin.
This sunscreen however is perfect for around the eyes. It contains no drying alcohol, no fragrance or irritating ingredients. Plus it has a high UVA protection. I actually bought it for all over my face, but it was way too shiny, sticky and tacky. However around the eyes it works well for me, there is no stinging, burning or making my eyes watery/teary or dried out throughout the day. But it does make my eye area look more shiny than the rest of my face but still “ok” since it’s a small area only. Will repurchase just for around my eye area until I can find a better sunscreen that can be used for my face AND eyes, because this is expensive for just the eye area, 17.99 CAD for 75 ml.

I am able to wear this under mineral makeup. It does have a glow and I would apply a powder over it to mattify. Does not bother my sensitive skin.

UPDATE: Summer 2016 – I wore a full face of Ombrelle and my skin appeared red/blotchy within hours. I will keep for hands only.
