This is a very very thick mineral sunscreen that takes some real effort to apply and sink into the skin, which I’m not convinced ever happens as my face feels tacky the entire time I have it on. It does not let your skin breathe AT ALL. I put this on and went to get water tested for the pool. By the time I got home I was sweating profusely, but only on my face. It feels like you are wearing a mask, which I guess is good because it is protecting you from the sun but it is definitely not the most comfortable thing to wear. As for reapplying goes, forget it. I used this for 2 weeks while on vacation and thankfully it did it’s job to keep me from burning but it did still allow a reasonable amount of tanning to occur as I do not think you can completely prevent while being outdoors no matter how often you reapply sunscreen. I would only repurchase this again if I was going to be spending time outdoors without makeup when on vacation in the summer or away somewhere tropical. I would NOT use this for my daily under makeup sunscreen, there are plenty of other mineral sunscreens out there that feel nicer and work equally as well (like my HG Australian Gold Botanical Tinted Mineral Sunscreen) for this purpose. I am giving this a rating of 4 lippies though because it does it’s job and smells like a coconut cream pie.
