I bought the spray which stated non-greasy on the front of the bottle–it’s greasy. Also, it spits out the liquid, not spray.
Good coverage, no irritation on the face, but it really lied about it being not greasy and it being a spray.

This is the worse mineral sunscreen you can ever imagine. I sprayed it in my palm and then put it on my face. My palm looks like it’s completely covered by oil. My face looks like in a complete white cask. The spray bottle design is also not very user friendly… I appreciate that they use good ingredient for this sunscreen but the whole user experience is very frustrating.

I wanted to like this sunscreen – but it is truly the worst I’ve tried. I made the mistake of switching from Lancome’s sunscreen to this one. I use sunscreen daily (I’m very fair skinned and burn easily) and so I’ve tried many brands. This one is greasy and leaves an awful white cast to my skin. It seriously looks and feels terrible. Even the packaging leaks and doesn’t spray properly.

I just received the Bioderma Photoderm Mineral sunscreen spf 50+ / PPD 26. I bought it because it is entirely physical with the highest PPD I could find. I thought it would be perfect and that since I wear makeup, I would have no problem covering the white cast.
This sunscreen is the worst thing I have ever used. The white cast is fine, but it is the greasiest sunscreen I have ever used. It comes in a spray bottle (the one in the picture no longer exists), so I spray the amount of 1/4 teaspoon onto my hands and apply it to my face. The texture is so runny that it just keeps dripping down my hands. Once applied to the face, it never actually sets. Not even an hour later. It remains just as greasy and shiny and with makeup on top, I look like a disco ball. I am extremely disappointed.
I’ve tried leaving it on and letting it set, but then the moment I touch my face (an hour later), the sunscreen gets removed. I can see it on my fingertips and I can see an uncovered spot on my fae. I’ve rubbed it over and over and nothing.
I’ve used physical sunscreens in the past and I know that after a while they should stick to your face and form that layer of protection. This one does not stick. I don’t understand how other reviewers say that it stays put. All the reviews I have read said it had a very white cast but that it was mattifying. That is why I bought it. It is not at all.
So far I have used the following sunscrees: Andalou naturals, Shiseido gentle protection, Clarins UV protection, Bioderma photoderm max milk. So I know what greasy is. This was justa total surprise.
If you are using this sunscreen and for some reason like it, please msg me and let me know what I am doing wrong. I also have dry skin so I cannot imagine this on oily skin.

Pros:
– excellent protection, no sunburn or tan
– finish is satin/matte not greasy
– excellent staying power

– obviously white cast but with a bit of bbcream on top it’s perfect
I am quite impressed with this product, at first i thought it would be thick and greasy (i’m not afraid of the white cast as i put makeup on) but this is quite light and not as greasy as i thought! i wouldn’t wear it on a daily basis as i feel it is too strong and doesn’t allow skin to breath, it kind of “sticks” to face so lasting power is amazing but i would be afraid of it clogging my pores if i wore it daily.

It just doesn´t work for me. It is chalky and leaves a white cast. Doesn´t work under make up. It also dries out my skin and makes it flaky.

Agree with the reviewer below – this made me look like the Joker! I am always on the lookout for sunscreens with Zinc Oxide as the active ingredient because my powder makeup has physical sunscreens in it. Although I am quite pale, this still was completely unwearable. It had a matte finish (which is rare) but there is no way I could go out in public with this stuff.

I think I’m one of those few who actually like this product. I’ve used and am always searching for different and better sunscreens (both chemical and physical). I’ve used Bioderma photoderm fluid for several years now, but felt that the protection was not that great. I decided to try the Mineral version since I’m ttc and cannot use chemical ones anymore.
Pro: Does not break me out, feels light. Stays put and provides excellent protection. Skin stays matte. Also, for the amount you get, price is actually pretty good.
Con: Like everybody else, it is very very whitening. You really have to blend well. But once blended, with mineral makeup and light powder on top, my skin looks amazing.
I will definitely buy this sunscreen again.

This review is for the Bioderma Photoderm Mineral SPF 50+ Fluid (the photo that’s currently displaying for this product is wrong).
Put the Bioderma on this morning and the first thing I noticed was that there was a very obvious white cast. I looked like The Joker from Batman! I figured I’d give it time to sink in, but over about 30 minutes my face began to tingle (that’s the first sign of irritation for me with sunscreens). By one hour the tingle was turning into an itch so I decided to remove it. The white cast definitely hadn’t gone, so even without the irritation it wouldn’t work for me.
This stuff is tenacious! It took 2 goes with MAC Cleanse Off Oil to remove it completely (and I was being generous with the oil and doing it properly). Perhaps another oil/makeup remover would be better at removing it, but MAC usually gets sunscreens off pretty easily.
