This is my HG sunscreen and if you try it, I’m sure it will be yours too. I have used this for several years now. I have very sensitive skin that seems to break out from absolutely everything. I’m fair, so I have to wear sunscreen. I’ve tried so many sunscreens and every single one seemed to break me out. It didn’t matter if they are cheap (Neutrogena) or stupidly expensive (Eve Lom), mineral (EltaMD) or chemical (Paula’s Choice). Those brands and so many more. Korean and Japanese imports. All of them. They all make my skin sting and break me out. THEN I FOUND THIS!!! I want to shout from the mountaintops: this is the most amazing sunscreen!!! It is dirt cheap when you compare it to the cost of most facial sunscreens. It doesn’t have alcohol. It is effective. And it never, ever breaks me out. This is the first and only sunscreen I’ve ever tried that didn’t sting when I put it on. I only wish they offered it in a mattifying version so that I could skip that extra step in my makeup routine. It isn’t that this is shiny once it dries down–it isn’t really. My skin is just oily and reflective. I should be happy for the “glow” since I’m in my mid 40s, but glow isn’t my thing. So every so often I try something new to see if it is better than Kinesys, and every single time I come back. This stuff is amazing.

Wow is this product a gem of a find. I love the shape of the bottle and the transparent nozzle. I use SPF 30 and I was looking for a good spray SPF for an upcoming trip to Egypt. The sprays are so convenient. I settled on this one and RoC Soleil Protexion Invisible Touch SPF 30 spray (great).
The product sprays on a wee bit heavier and shiny than the RoC (it seems at first) but as soon as you start to rub it in it begins to fade. Within a minute or so, there is no more greasy shine, just buttery soft feeling skin. Unlike the RoC which feels like there is nothing on your skin (very nice), this one feels like there is a nice soft moisturizer on your skin (I enjoy both feelings so I bought both!). And the scent is like a faint sweet peach/pina colada – very lovely – I can’t stop touching my shoulder where I sprayed it on. It says it is oil-free which is amazing, and it’s alcohol free so I’m thrilled about that compared to Coppertone continuous spray (pretty good product, just not good value).
I love the little colbalt blue spray bottle with the ergonomic grip so you can keep a handle on the bottle even if it gets slick. It is a Canadian made product and I got it at London Drugs for $15.99

Great product.
Truly no scent, no colour, no alcohol.
I got the small version to try it out (1fl.oz/30ml). The sprayer works great.
I use it on my face and neck only.Lasts about 2.5 months used daily.
It feels greasy when you first apply it, but it dries quickly and it doesn’t look shiny, it’s quite matte. No white cast. Feels like a face primer on the skin.
No clogged pores although it has silicones in it (I’ve used Smashbox primer and it broke me out – don’t know if it was from the silicone or from other ingredient, haven’t used another primer).
I think makeup would look good over it but I haven’t tried it.
I try to stay in the sun as little as possible, so I didn’t test it to its full potential.

After just one bottle of this alcohol-free, breathable, water- and sweat-proof, broad-spectrum sunscreen spray, KINeSYS has become my HG sun protection for my body. I use the SPF30 fragrance-free version for my sensitive skin, but the scented version has a lovely mango smell, if that’s your thing.
When first sprayed out of the bottle, it may seem a bit greasy, but don’t fret! Just rub it on to achieve a uniform application, and you’ll find that it feels quite dry to the touch. Any residue is quickly absorbed and there is no oiliness within one to two minutes, just as promised on the label. It feels very light on the skin.
I really like the packaging. While other aerosol spray sunscreens seem larger in volume, I’ve found that KINeSYS actually contains more product. Less is wasted as there’s more control as to where the spray actually lands – when I’ve used aerosols in the past, much of the product seems to get sprayed out into the air and each canister only lasts a few days at the beach. I just finished my last bottle this morning and it has seen me through six weeks of summer fun, including daily use on my exposed bits when I’m out and about.
This product has eliminated the breakouts I used to get on my chest and back each summer, which I thought was just a normal part of wearing sunscreen. It also works just fine on the face, just remember to spray it on your hand prior to rubbing it on (I should have heeded the label warning on this… it does not taste good, nor does it feel good in the eyes!). I don’t usually use this on my face (I’m a fan of the Clinique City Block SPF40), but I do apply it to my chest, arms and neck on a daily basis.
I also love that the product and packaging are manufactured in Canada. Canadians, if you live near a Mountain Equipment Co-Op, it is at least 25% cheaper there than in the drugstore. Currently, it costs $13 at MEC and $17+ at the big chain DS. One bottle and you’ve pretty much paid for your $5 MEC lifetime membership!

I absolutely love this product! I hope it never gets discontinued. This product is good for many reasons:
– It’s so light; gets absorbed immediately and doesn’t leave skin greasy at all; in fact skin feels like it’s bare
– Offers diferent formulations: unscented, scented (I’m usually not too fond of scents but this is absolutely delicious)
– Convenient spray bottle, easy to handle
– Contains no parabens, phtalates, doesn’t test on animals, etc.
– Waterproof, sweatproof (although, I always reapply as a precaution) – producted is meant for athletes
– Alcohol-free
– Provides UVB/UVA protection (octinoxate 7.5%, octocrylene 7%, avobenzone a.k.a Parsol 1789 2%
– Cost is fair: around $20 (I use A LOT of sunscreen and I might get through 1 1/2 bottles in one summer)
My only concerns with this product is that it is not endorsed by a dermatology association and it feels so light on the skin that it’s hard to know where you have already applied the product.
