I’m on my second tube of this sunscreen. Physical sunscreens work better on my melasma prone skin and this is a win. So hard to find a physical ss that doesn’t suck every ounce of moisture out of my already dry skin but this is another win. I apply vit c first and if I’m really dry a light moisturizer if necessary. I tend to put ss on very thick as I live in a tropical climate. The I Image melts in, settles with no white cast, oil slick or watering of eyes. Works well with or without makeup, just all around lovely. Adding that I’ve tried the 50 as well and it’s nice too, just not as moisturizing on my skin, For reference my skin is dry, sensitive, mild rosacea, not prone to breakouts, also blepharitis and ocular rosacea.

My HG sunscreen. I can only do physical sunscreens on my tretinoin skin. But it’s hard to find one that is not thick greasy and leaves me looking and feeling like I’m wearing a white mask.
Pros
High zinc content
Leave very little white cast on my nc30 skin
Hydrating on my dry skin
Non greasy
Can put around eyes without stinging
Does not pill
Cons
A little pricey

Love this sunscreen because it doesn’t leave me feeling sticky or tacky like others I’ve tried. Goes in light and smooth without making me shiny. I also like the scent. This is my everyday sunscreen!

This brand is great. I got a tiny 5 piece kit from my dermatologist for my terrible chin breakouts that keep coming back and for the last couple weeks, my results have been incredible. I am so happy to have found this and it has been working fast. As long as you keep up with it, you can’t go wrong. The masque is AWESOME too.

I tried this product because I was looking for a facial sunscreen for daily use. It contains Zinc oxide, a broad spectrum UVA-UVB sunblock, plus a bunch of antioxidants and anti-inflammatory ingredients designed to protect the skin.
It goes on looking quite slick and moist, but this absorbs and fades quickly to just a nice glow. It wears well under makeup and does not ball up at all. I had no immediate reactions to it – no pimples, greasiness, obvious allergies, etc. So I quite liked it at first.
Unfortunately, that didn’t last. Wearing it every day I started to notice baggy pockets of fluid developing under my eyes, a very noticeable darkening of my purplish under-eye bags, and drying of my crowsfeet area with an obvious worsening of the wrinkles there. In fact, overall dehydration of my skin and some kind of low grade inflammatory reaction became quite a problem.
So it turned out to be not “moisturising” or “anti-inflammatory” at all – quite the opposite! It also smelled quite chemically.
A bit of research lead me to stories of other Zinc oxide creams causing dryness, but this seemed to go much further, causing a decrease in the quality of my skin and awful, dark, dry, fluidy under-eyes. I needed so much concealer and just did not look good. I actually looked sick.
Unfortunately, yet another so-called facial sunscreen bites the dust.
