Argh – I really wanted to love this.
For now, I’ll keep using it, but somehow it’s not fabulous enough for me. It stings a little, causes a little redness, and makeup over it pills and balls up a little. I’m glad it mostly sinks in, and there’s no real white cast left over. But since I like to apply TONS, it’s still a little less transparent than the other Bariesun SPF 50 cream which I love.
I wish it offered more protection than SPF 30, alas this is all that’s available at my local pharmacy here. I MUCH preferred Uriage SPF 50 Bariesun Cream when it was available here. So much gentler. But still – this does offer some good protective ingredients for the time being.

My skin is ultra sensitive specially with the sun, with hormonal changes and the sun I break out a lot and this HAS been working for me pretty well.

I tried this and the Uriage Depiderm SPF 50, and I like the Depiderm WAY better because although this is designed for oily, acne-prone skin, which I have, the Depiderm is unfragranced, works better w/ mu, and gives more protection from PIH. This is a lighter, thin cream than the Depiderm, but is highly fragranced, which I found very annoying. If fragranced skin care doesn’t bother you, you may like this, but I cant stand strong fragrances on my face, and a lot of scents bother my skin. I never got any irritation or breakouts, but the smell really bugged me. It dries to a nice, clear, matte finish IF used alone. If I applied foundation over this, I got a mess – pilling, balling, every tiny flake and dry skin patch showing through and accentuated, etc. I tried waiting a while, not waiting, nothing worked. Overall, fine to use alone if you don’t mind fragrance. For me, it didn’t work. Will not buy again because of the scent and the fact it did’;t play well w/ any of my foundations. Otherwise, a nice product.
