Have re-purchased this sunscreen several times. It is one of the only mineral sunscreens I have tried that does not feel dry on my skin. The tint is perfect for my fair skin tone. It also re-applies well during the day. I have melasma and continual sunscreen use it really important.

I transitioned from a chemical spf to a physical one. I have acne prone skin that is combination. This is a zinc based spf with a universal tint. It applies smoothly and leaves absolutely no white cast. The coloring is fine as I am olive complexioned. It provides no coverage. The finish is very dewy which is something I enjoy. Some physical spf are very drying – this is not. But it never fully “sets” but I don’t mind. I had a disaster with the Elta MD I tinted spf 41 and this was such a wonderful change.

I use this product to “cut” the natural face sunscreen product in this brand during winter, when my skin is even paler than normal. It does take some time to sink in and I have to powder over my forehead, but it doesn’t have a white glare, which is the perennial problem with physical sunscreens. It doesn’t irritate my winter eczema and, paired with the other product, provides a nice light, even coverage and moisturizes. I have dry skin, so that’s something I look for, especially in winter.

The tint is a neutral fair compared to other tinted sunscreens that tend to be pink/orange and too dark. It does not oxidize on my face or catch and look bad on dry bits. It doesn’t dry down to be matte, so I powder it. Good protection, no obvious color, no irritation, no zits, doesn’t dry my skin out. So far, it’s a winner (I’ve been using it a few weeks). I’ll likely repurchase this as a good sunscreen is essential to not looking haggard. For reference, I am fair, dry-ish skin but have to blot the t-zone mid-day. In my 50s.
To compare, the Bare Minerals light tinted primer with SPF 30 is much darker (probably a good match for medium skin tones) and catches like crazy on dry bits. I’ll use the BM up but not repurchase.

This oxidizes on my face, once applied it looks much darker with an orange tint. It’s also extremely greasy, not even my mattifying powder can work—it remains greasy and makes my face shiny while I wear it. I can’t imagine trying to put makeup over it. Overall this was extremely disappointing and a waste of money.

I’ve received a packet of samples from Ulta and between them was a few the CoTZ sunscreens (Sensitive, Natural Skin & Flawless Complexion). I’ve using sunscreen that have Titanium Dioxide, and they are great but they do tend to leave a white cast that is not pretty.
Like the Sensitive it didn’t leave my face feeling greasy or with a shine, no “beach/pool” smell. This one had a slight tint to it, so it definitely no white cast, and the tint was so sheer that it could fit from fair to medium, without looking like you have the wrong shade of foundation. I am light skin and it looked like tinted moisturizer.
Like the other one I used it on a work trip to Central America, where I spent the day at a construction site, and at night when I got back to the hotel, my skin wasn’t burned or tanner from that morning, so again it did its main job. This are good sunscreens.
I probably wouldn’t buy it, for it for people using products to eliminate blemishes and personally is something I don’t need; it also it has less product than the Sensitive one for the same price, but I might recommend for someone that uses products for blemishes on a normal routine, for it is formulated for them, and it doesn’t clog pores.

Eh, it is really hard to market your product when you only have one shade to offer. There is no such thing as a “universal” shade. The texture of this product is a bit runnier than what I was hoping and the smell is a bit sunscreen-y. The actual shade of this product is too dark and too yellow for my fair skin, although I did give it a fair shot and try to blend it in. Overall, I prefer other CoTZ products better, especially in terms of the color, so I would not repurchase this.

I had heard great reviews about this so bought a sample size on Ebay. The product itself is a thick cream, tinted, but on my NC15 skin the tint barely shows up and does not look darker than my skin (which is what I was worried about.)
The cream spreads easily but seems to remain on the skin as an oily layer. I have used many sunscreens that sink into the skin leaving a great matte or semi-matte finish. This one just leaves me shiny.
I like that it is a physical sunscreen but I find that it does affect my makeup when worn on top. My foundation seemed to separate and just vanish off my face after a few hours, this does not happen with other sunscreens.
Although this is a great sunscreen, I need something that works well with my makeup. This does not, and so I will not be repurchasing.
