   I bought this product to mix with the “Natural” version, which I had bought first and the tint was much too dark/orange for me. I looked at the ingredient list and both are identical except for the inclusion of the brown iron-oxides in the “Natural-Skin” version, so mixing them is not a problem.

   The mixing went fine, I was able to achieve a nice intermediate color by mixing the “Natural” with the “Lighter skin” version. The product comes out in a whipped, rather thick/substantial mousse texture. Sounds nice, right? Well…it acts on skin like wood putty. The formula is totally water-less, it has tons of silicones and it is just like wood putty being spread around your face, a very strange texture & finish. I found it difficult to apply to a very smooth finish without it balling up in dry, putty balls due to the amount of rubbing that I needed to get it smooth. The finish is very matte due to the silicone formula – you will NOT need to powder over this to combat shine – but again, I personally found it hard to apply it to be totally smooth as it wants to ball up a bit and it will emphasize and collect on any dry or flaky areas. Strange stuff. I can say it’s the oddest sunscreen I’ve ever tried, but could be a miracle product for someone looking for a matte, physical sunscreen.

   Finally, remember everyone: To get the stated SPF, you need to apply approx. 1/4 tsp. for face & another 1/4 tsp to neck. “Pea sized amount” is fine for a moisturizer, but that is not the correct measurement for a sunscreen.

   Man, this stuff works. If you really want to block the sun from your skin, this does a great job and doesn’t budge. I have the tinted “Natural” and it blends much like a primer. Doesn’t really give any coverage but it leaves a velvety matte finish. Very silicone-y. My only issue is that it is quite drying. I have normal to dry skin and live in SoCal. My makeup looks very matte on top of it, and i prefer a dewy finish. So I’m torn…. would I buy it again? If I can make it work with moisturizer underneath or a dewy setting spray, probably yes. My skin feels very smooth and cared for after 2 weeks of using this. YMMV, but it’s worth a try. Probably great for oily skin, and would eliminate the need for a primer if you use one.

   I’m completely devoted to this. I have very fair, combination skin that burns/freckles easily and I’ve tried just about every sunscreen out there, from high-end to drugstore. This is the only one that:
   — Gives my skin a silky matte finish with a soft-focus airbrushed look
   — Keeps my oil at bay for 10+ hours
   — Acts as a primer — though to be fair, a lot of liquid foundations look obvious on top, so I prefer to stick with powder foundations. However, this definitely helps my makeup stay on all day and not fade
   — Does not dry me out (I wear it on top of moisturizer)

   I love that it’s a gentle physical sunscreen, too! For all but the palest skin it will probably give you a white cast, so I’d recommend their tinted version instead. I wear it daily and a $20 tube lasts me a good 8 months or so. Great value!

   I’ve long known that I should be wearing sunscreen on a consistent, daily basis. However, my skin is very acne prone and gets really oily. The eternal question – do I prefer wrinkly skin with few zits or pimply skin with few wrinkles? Ugh…
   This sunscreen dries quickly, doesn’t leave a white cast and is unscented. I’ve only been using it for a little over 2 weeks, but I’m really not seeing more breakouts or clogs – yay! The shine factor is more of an issue for me. After about 6 hours in a cool, dry office environment, I’m feeling pretty greasy. Of course I blot and that helps, but I’m concerned about steamy summer weather.
   When wearing this product, I haven’t been applying a separate primer. This stuff helps my liquid concealer and powder foundation go on smoothly, plus I hate adding even more layers of product onto my temperamental skin. During the summer months, I usually apply Murad’s oil free moisturizer and that really helps with the oilies. I don’t know how the two products would work together…
   I’m happy right now though. Will update as the summer arrives and my old enemy, humidity, rears its ugly head!

   This has been my go-to everyday sunscreen lately. I have tried so many sunscreens from low end to high end, and usually have issues with balling or separation when applying foundation over top. The best part about this product is that is is silicone based and therefore acts like a great primer. My foundation applies BETTER over top of it. I have used it with Estee Lauder double wear, Mac face and body, MAC matchmaster, and Revlon colorstay with all great results. It is mineral sunscreen, therefore you don’t have to worry about any chemical sunscreens in your foundation interacting or destabilizing thr sun protection.
   It has not broken me out and I have not noticed any clogged pores. It dries to a matte silky finish. Foundation applies like a dream over top, and the best part is it is so affordable ($19 for 1.5 oz). The only negative is that it does not contain any moisturizing ingredients, so if you have dry skin you will have to use a separate moisturizer underneath.
   I am NC 20 and the “lighter” version blends in well with no white cast. I believe there is a “natural” version as well.

   So I still am desperately searching for a sunscreen my skin can use on a daily basis. This has been one of my more successful trials so far.
   Background on me: Rather pale, combo and very breakout prone skin.
   Product description from the box: Silky Soft, Sheer Matte Finish, 100% free of preservatives, chemical sunscreens, Oils, and Fragrance Free.

   My impressions: This is a physical sunscreen mainly titanium dioxide and some zinc. Not high ppd but at this point I am going for the “anything is better than nothing approach”. This product is in fact silky soft and sheer matte on me. It is white/ goes on fairly clear and fragrance free which are all pluses. It is loaded with silicones though including cyclops which may be a problem for some. My skin hates everything but for some reason cyclops is fine not sure about all the other ‘cones though. I found this to be not at all whitening and feel very light compared to many other s/s I tried. It did take a while to dry on me and it wasn’t sticky but since it is a physical s/s it kinda does just sit there on top of my skin and doesn’t really absorb in as would a chemical sunscreen. I did not find this sticky and it did not ball up under my foundation but I do feel my cream foundation did not apply as evenly as usual but that may just take some working on.

   As for breakouts go this did not give me instantaneous huge breakouts which usually happens if my skin hates a product. Generally, this has not bothered most of my skin at all – no burning, irritation, or clogs except I noticed a few more pimples this week on my chin only but that could be from a variety of factors. Products do tend to break my chin out no matter what though so I may just use this on the rest of my face and hope for the best.

   Either way even if I still haven’t found a sunscreen that I can wear daily this might be something I can put on when I know I am going to be in the sun more than usual. Definitely worth checking out. I purchased for $19.99 from drugstore.com.
