I am not a fan of this sunscreen for a few reasons. First off, the texture. When tested on my hand, it felt fine but when applied on my face, I found it doesn’t really fully sink in or dry down. It remains slightly tacky on the skin and there’s a visible sheen on my face as well. As someone with an already very oily and acne prone face, the last thing I want is my skin to look and feel oily.
A friend of mine also uses this and while the texture doesn’t bother her (she’s has combination skin and doesn’t suffer from acne), she has found that the sun protection in this sunscreen is lacking. She was on holiday and was going in and out of the sun for less than 3 hours before she had a slight sunburn. She then developed several rather large sun hyperpigmentation spots all over her jaw overnight that will now take months to fade.
Also, as other reviewers have mentioned, the essential oils in this sunscreen are unnecessary and a potential irritant. So far it hasn’t bothered me, but those with sensitive skin should be wary.
I’ll continue to use this til it finishes since I’m indoors most days so high sun protection isn’t crucial for me. Won’t repurchase or recommend.

My sister really loves this sunscreen and I wanted to love it too..but I just can’t. It says it’s non-comedogenic, but it broke my skin out pretty badly. This sunscreen smells really nice and it’s hard to find a sunscreen that doesn’t smell like the beach, because who wants to smell like coconuts at the office, but I’m willing to bet it’s the lemon, orange, and rosemary oils that irritated my skin. Granted I am very sensitive to products. Secondly, this sunscreen is just oily. It makes me feel uncomfortably greasy and gross.
The only points I’m giving is that it’s cruelty free. It’s not a terrible product, but it’s just not for me. It might work as a beach sunscreen for someone who isn’t sensitive to products.

This is on the oily side, leaves a oily residue on your face. Its texture and smell just feels like sunscreen, instead of a lightweight moisturizer/gel. Not very impressive

The SUPERGOOP!Everyday Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 50 is a chemical sunscreen that comes in several sizes all the way up to a huge 18 ounce economy size pump bottle. I like that this is SPF 50 and it applies very clear since it is a chemical sunscreen. This is a more unsophisticated sunscreen since Supergoop! did not really focus on adding beneficial ingredients, instead they added several fragrance ingredients, probably to cover up the scent of chemical SPF ingredients. They included lemon peel oil, orange peel oil, rosewood, limonene, patchouli oil, geraniol, citral, all of which can cause skin sensitization. This is why I cannot finish the bottle of this sunblock, everytime I use this sunscreen near the end of the day my skin gets too itchy, especially on my neck. I do love that this is one of their more affordable sunscreens. Thankfully I have found better sunscreens by Supergoop! that are not highly fragranced and ones I can use on a daily basis.
