I’ve been using this sunscreen for 2 years now so it’s definitely a keeper! My skin is sensitive and high-maintenance in the sense that when it’s happy, it’s smooth and glowy, but the moment I use a product or subject it to unusual conditions, it dehydrates overnight with an angry stubborn rash. This sunscreen has not bothered my skin at all.
The texture is milky and watery and feels moisturizing on. It leaves a white cast which fades after half an hour or so. I’m pale so it actually evens out my skin tone. As the other reviewer mentioned, it’s got adequate sun protection and is supposedly chock full of antioxidants.
I’ve borrowed a couple of other sunscreens when I’ve run out (Clarins UV Plus, Paula’s choice resist daily fluid) and while they have suited my friends’ skins, using those made my skin noticeably more pink and rough. To be fair, my skin is on the dry side so I don’t think those were suitable for me.
A great sunscreen for dry-combination, sensitive, pale skin!

This is the highest % of physical sunscreen + skincare I could find.
Active ingredients: Titanium Dioxide 8.3%, Zinc Oxide 12.6%.
it also comes with a lot skincare ingredients. Perfect for eyes and other areas not breakout prone. I won’t use this on my cheek cuz I easily have acne there, don’t wanner take the chance.
Even though this leaves a white cast, it is my perfect replacement of the Sofina perfect UV ( yes, I am Aeries who started that thread, just lost the password and resurrect as firefire) This is different kind of sunscreen. A bit thicker, like 2% milk , instead of Sofina ( like 1% skimmed milk) yet still light/watery/ Runny. same non oily, non greasy, non sticky, didn’t feel a thing, very much like Japanese sunscreens but this leaves a white cast and won’t mattify as much, and not sweat/water resistant ( which is perfect for daily use).
The reason I didn’t go back to other Japanese brands this time is because, the loaded antioxidant / skin care ingredients here. So, between white cast/ non white cast, I pick loads of skincare ingredients but with white cast.
When compare this with other sunscreen I have in stock, this is the least oily. The next one is shiseido Anessa perfect essence sunscreen spf 50 + pa+++. Shiseido Very high sun protection lotion ( now reformulate as Wetforce) spf 50+ comes next. The most oily one is philosophy miracle worker fluid spf 50+ ( it is a cream, not fluid, when compare to these).
The North American company is catching up in the sunscreen department. This one even beats shiseido Anessa perfect essence (blue bottle) in term of non- oiliness. Well, but this leaves a slight white cast.
I will see later how this compares to Anessa (gold bottle, waterproof ), I just used up mine,
For hot summer outdoor activities ( swimming/ sweat a lot), I still stick to Shisheido ( wetware or Anessa gold bottle) simply for the very water resistant function.
