Thoroughly disliked this. It dries in white clumps and stripes no matter how meticulous I am when applying it or how well I rub this in.It dries and is immovable. Also has sparkles in it I guess for the radiance. They’re not huge but definitely there. Also has fragrance but to me it doesn’t smell that obnoxious. It’s just the consistency of this–so very hard to get right and use. Definitely not a slap and go product.

I love the Complexion Rescue tinted moisturizer and I was quite excited to see a complimenting product to up the spf and enhance everything I love about the tint. Clean protection? Increased hydration? Blue light protection… whaaaat? Ok, whatever, I’ll try it anyways.
I am not a big fan of this style of packaging. It could be just a squeeze tube but it has a pump, my experience being they leave too much product behind that is difficult to get out. But the pump works nice and is easy to control.
It leaves a bit of a white film behind so this can’t be used as a stand-alone product. Under the complexion rescue tinted moisturizer it goes away and lightens the color slightly, perhaps I feel it does due to the ”radiant” factor. Wears nice, the tint glides over it with no pilling or caking. Isn’t drying, a bit of a challenge to prevent when zinc oxide is involved.
BUT It has a faint but pleasant smell and ugh, just looked at the ingredients to try to figure out what it might be coming from and it has fragrance… (#$@%*!!!) Come on Bare Minerals, really?!! This kind of actually p*sses me off because BM is supposed to be one of those brands where not a speck of fragrance is present but they just blew that out of the water (long string of verbal profanities).
One lippie off for the whitening, another for the #&@$ fact they use fragrance. Won’t be repurchasing, there are plenty of other sunscreen products out there that work and feel just as nice and brands that don’t lie and bury a smelly secret under a spew of claims.

I really wanted to love the new BAREMINERALS Complexion Rescue Defense Radiant Protective Veil Broad Spectrum SPF 30, but in the end I found it to be simply just okay. BareMinerals has marketed this as the cure to protect your skin from blue HEV light emitted by cell phones, Ipads, Tablets, and latptops. I was a little happy (and annoyed) to read that all sunscreens that are broad spectrum already do this- FYI– you do not need a special sunscreen for this!! This is good news but also annoying that BareMinerals claims that their Complexion Rescue Defense Radiant Protective Veil doesn’t do anything special. This has more of a white cast than other sunscreens, less wear time, and sometimes causes my foundation to slip. I have lots of sunscreens and I can never see myself reaching for this since there are so many sunscreens that are so much better and have a stronger SPF with little to no white cast.
