I have been using The Organic Pharmacy Cellular Protection Sun Cream SPF 50 for 5 years (I never wrote any review on any skincare products, but I do love this product enough that I hope other people get to know more about this wonderful sunscreen.)
The Organic Pharmacy sunscreen is definitely the best natural mineral sunscreen I have ever used. It has very nourishing & moisturizing ingredients, and it’s perfect for dry skin in dry climate like California.
Due to its nourishing ingredients, I can actually apply it as my daytime moisturizer after my application of Vitamin C serum & Hyaluronic acid serum. It is super soothing & calming for my skin after the application of potent Vitamin C serum.
Another big plus about this product is its delightful scent (thanks to its natural nourishing ingredients) — Whenever I apply this sunscreen in the lady’s bathroom, other ladies around me always compliment the very pleasant vanilla scent of this sunscreen. It is just very pleasant, and you won’t find such scent in any other sunscreen that is full of chemicals.
This is absolutely the best natural mineral sunscreen, and I am comparing it to other regular or high-end sunscreens.
I find the current formula to be perfect, and hope it will never get changed. I hope it will always be available as I do not wish to switch to any other less-natural/less nourishing sunscreen products.

I won a full size of this from a drawing. I had never heard of the brand before and got very excited when I learned the SPF in it was mineral as chemical SPF causes a pimple on my sensitive skin. This excitement increased when I read the ingredients list, it has a bunch of oils good for the skin. Then decreased when I saw “Parfum/Fragrance”. They usually irritate me but even without irritation I prefer fragrance-free face products.
The product didn’t irritate me — then again, maybe it would if I used multiple days in a row, I always use it just like for one day, and again three days later. It does a decent job at sun protection. It’s quite heavy in texture which I think makes it suitable for very dry skin. But “heavy in texture” also means it patches. Not on its own, but if I scratch my neck or face, this comes out like dirt. This is not uncommon for physical sunscreens, I mean they do protect with a physical barrier so it makes sense, but I’ve been using another physical sunscreen, Derma E SPF30 for face and I have this issue FAR less with that one and it’s cheaper.
I checked the price and on average this is around $69 without discount. The Derma E sunscreen I mentioned is a little less than $20 and I like it better. I will finish this bottle but I won’t purchase. If it wasn’t for the price I would give 4 stars.

I love this high SPF. It is however quite thick and I find its best to use alone or with something light like the antioxidant gel. I find that when used on bare skin it is moisturising enough to be used on its own especially on the body. It smells gorgeous like vanilla. I find the only problem with this sunscreen is when its very hot or humid it can be a bit too heavy on the skin. I did use this when I went to Florida last year and its performance was superb. I love the way its clear and a little goes a long way making it excellent value for money.
